Substrate mess solved!

Absolutely thrilled with these for my leopard geckos!

Used to go with calcium sand, but that led to accidental lizard munching. No such worries with this substrate! It's a breeze to clean, and swapping it out when it wears down is easy on the wallet. It's also nice and thick, giving my geckos a plush place to hang out

Great for hermits as well

I purchased this item for my hermit crabs, not for reptiles. In their tank, I typically use coconut substrate, but I wanted to create a sort of "second level" for them. I acquired a hermit crab-safe plastic kitchen shelf and securely attached this product on top of it, with cholla wood serving as ladders leading up to it. The hermit crabs appear to be quite fond of it; they spend a lot of time on their new "second level."
