bought for xmas for small amazon. toy is as described but Salty isn't interested. He has pushed it to the back of his cage. Maybe he's saving it for later??? Has plenty of chewable material on it. Priced good for size.
I have a Conure and he loves chewing toys. Especially those that he can do significant damage to. Chewy has some good quality toys for him to sink his beak into. The wood gives him immediate chewing satisfaction and the seagrass makes him work a little harder. Then there's his tender side where he will snuggle up to it and mumble. Birds?! Chewy has a good selection of bird toys that are categorized by bird breed and size. I will definitely be buying more bird toys for my little guy.
This toy is our cockatiel's favorite, among the many toys he has. At first, he was reluctant to even touch it, but now he often rings the bell, pulls out the wafer, and at night, uses it as a bed. Usually, when we check on him at night, he is perched cozily on his "bed." This toy is durable and can withstand the curious cockatiel's beak for quite some time!
My lovebirds favorite toy! They got this thing tore up already. It is the SEAGRASS! I should of got a bigger one.
All the sea grass fell out of the toy the first day. Poor design
This toy was inexpensive and it keeps my bird busy. He’s an African Grey that is known to quickly destroy toys. This one is holding up well so far. It’s not the type of toy meant to last really long term, as it’s made to shred, but he’s been working on it for a couple weeks and it still has plenty of life left. I’ll be buying this one again.
shorter than competitor's toys...that is why priced cheaper....my bird liked playing with this toy but did not last long.....
Smaller than I thought although nice and she enjoyed it, my parrot had dismantled it in 20 min. So not the perfect toy for an Amazon
My bird has been having seizures and the vet determined metal poisoning through an x ray. We tested all his metal toys for unsafe metals and the middle rod that's skewering the wood and seagrass together reacted. The inside part of the bell also reacted. Please don't buy this toy!
Ms. Bird seemed to be terrified of the toy the first week or so but she has not started chewing and playing with it. Thank heavens!
