First Remove the bells if you are using this for a medium or larger parrot. This has been a repeat buy. It's one of my African Grey's favorite toys. The wood is the right texture and thin enough she can break the wood apart. The only con is the bells. They are too easily able to have the bell bangers removed by the parrots and are small enough for a medium or large parrot to swallow. So watch out for the bells and their bangers.

My Cockatoos absolutely love to chew and take things apart. Flimsy toys don't last any time at all which leaves both me and my birds disappointed. But THESE toys provide my birds with weeks of play. The hardness of the wood blocks is just right to give them a comfortable level of challenge, unlike true hardwood toys.
