Use a standard 8 fl. oz. measuring cup. Dogs over 100 lbs: Add 1/3 cup per additional 10 lbs.
Adult: Every dog is different, so optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size, activity level, breed, and environment. For Adult dogs, feed once or twice daily. Use diagram above and adjust to maintain body weight. Hard working dogs, dogs in winter and pregnant or nursing mothers may require up to 3 times the daily ration. Consider free feeding during these times. Always provide fresh drinking water for your dog. Consult your veterinarian regularly to maintain your dog's optimal health.
Puppy: For puppies from weaning to 3 months, feed 4 times a day. From 3 - 6 months, feed 3 times a day. From 6 months to a year, feed 2 times a day. It is best to mix Supreme Source with warm water, milk, or broth. Be sure to keep this mixture fresh. A serving that the puppy will consume in 10 minutes is adequate. Slowly dry out the mixture from weaning to 6 month, then the puppy can be fed a dry Adult serving.
Begin transitioning with 1/4 new product and 3/4 old product for approximately one week. Then increase the ratio to 1/2 new and 1/2 old for an additional week. If your pet is handling the change well, then increase the ratio to 3/4 new and 1/4 old until the old product is gone. If at any time your pet exhibits intestinal distress or other signs that they are not transitioning well, then cut back on the new food and contact your Veterinarian for additional advice.
My pet Loves this food and the kibble size is perfect for any doggie small or large.
The corn-based kibble he was eating previously plumped him up like a little piglet but I've been feeding Supreme Source in various flavors to Dobby for over five years now and he's kept his svelte 12 lb figure. I tried blending in another kibble and he meticulously picked out all the other bits to eat this first. It's Chug-approved.
I stumbled on to this food at the store when my girls ran out of their regular delivery food and I just wanted to get something to hold them over. Well as soon as I put this food in their bowls they ate it at warp speed. That's unusual for my Gabi, she's very picky and sometimes doesn't eat all day. They both love it, they have increased energy and their coats are beautiful I have a pit mix and a German shepherd and I'm seeing less shedding.
Our Mini Aussie thoroughly enjoys the Supreme Choice foods. With the Lamb, we add cooked carrots or potatoes to give a bit more interest. His health is excellent, and his intake is only 1 cup daily for 40 lbs.
MacDuff loves this kibble. I add fruit or veggies for a wholesome diet,
Our rescue dog came with many problems, skin, allergies and basic health. She immediately loved this food and "perked" up after starting with this recipe. The small size seems to be appropriate for her, although she is a large dog, but easy for her to eat and chew. We recommend this dog food to anyone starting off with a rescue or malnourished dog.
I have tried several different foods for a pit who is not only a picky eater but with bad allergies and a VERY sensitive tummy. This is the only food I have found that helps which these issues and that he loves! The bite size pieces are great. I hope this comes back in stock soon so my poor baby’s tummy can go back to normal.
your shipping was way slow thought you forgot it was real fast before john
I have feed Supreme Source for many years. The small kibble is perfect for my little guys and works great when I had a big boy.
I have a chihuahua. He is very sweet and usually resist eating dry food. He eats this food without and resistance. Im just glad he is eating.
