Super SOFT and perfect for older kitties!

My 13 year old kitty had 6 teeth removed but she LOVES her treats. These are PERFECT! They are regular sized, but think sliced and SOFT! My girl loves these and I don't need to worry about her choking or hurting her mouth by chewing on regular crunchy treats. I've tried these and the chicken flavor. She loves them both but these are very pungent smelling (the chicken do not smell strong), so just FYI if you are sensitive to strong smells. They smell like a freshly opened can of tuna!

Good to mask taste of meds

Two of my cats absolutely love the meaty mix up soft treats and even purr when they get them. They have had some teeth removed so I give them these and sometimes

Two of my cats absolutely love the meaty mix up soft treats and even purr when they get them. They have had some teeth removed so I give them these and sometimes the freeze dried treats by another brand because they are easier to chew. Even though I use pill pockets for their thyroid meds, sometimes they need some extra incentive so I will mash part of the meaty mix up soft treat, or freeze dried treats, on top of the pill pockets to get them interested enough to take their meds. Sometimes I have used the soft treats without the pill pockets. You have to be creative with these picky, spoiled kitties. However, I have two other cats that could not be bothered with these treats at all so it is basically trial and error since all kitties have different preferences.

I left a full review on the chicken flavor. Our Sam happens to like chicken and shrimp better than beef, but when his teeth got too bad to eat the crunchy Temptations, these were a great option. Our Sam has kidney disease, so he can't have anesthesia for a teeth cleaning. He loves his after meal Temptations, so we're very happy that they make a soft version!
