    Cat's won't eat it

    By on

I don't know what it is with this one. None of our 4 cats will touch it. You know something is strange when not even the adopted street cat will eat it. My dogs love it... of course, they will eat anything

    Good food for cats

    By on

Turns out my cats aren't into the turkey, but there's nothing wrong with the food and overall they (and myself) really like Dave's.

    Quality Food - Good price

    By on

Out cat is on a lower protein diet and finding a good low protein food that does not contain chicken is difficult. Dave's Turkey and Giblets checks all the boxes and is affordable. Most importantly, my cat likes it. I recommend it highly.

Was a No-Go for my kitties

    By on

While the lable showed promise, the actual food was something my three cats did not like. My 1 y.o. kitty wouldn't even touch it, and he eats anything. My older kitties were able to be tricked into eating it, only if I mixed a can of Instinct Chicken Pate into it. The food stunk when it came out of the can and was super jelly around the outside. I'm just trying to get through the case I bought and will not buy this brand again.

Big no no for my “kits”

    By on

My Yogui, my black panther, eats mostly whatever food I put in front of him. Not this. I always buy the chicken flavor on this brand and he loves it, but turkey, not at all. Ginni, Kiara and my 2 strays didn’t approve either. Why did I buy turkey? I think it was on sale, if so, I learned my lesson. No more turkey for these babies.

    So far, so good

    By on

This is my first go at Dave's. Being new to my cats, they didn't gobble it up immediately, especially after I added some pea protein powder to it, but my elderly sick boy really seemed to like it, so very happy about that, and most of my others ate it too, so I'll be trying the other varieties. Too bad chewy doesn't carry the 22 oz. cans though.

    The cat likes it!

    By on

I like the bigger can, which saves money. Easy to spoon out. The cat likes it but he likes everything. Ingredients seem good.

    quality control problem

    By on

My cats absolutely love this flavor of Dave's for years when I purchase from a local pet store so I decided to buy from Chewy's in bulk. My cats both turned their noses up at these obviously flawed soupy cans. I'm not sure if it's a new recipe or produced differently for bulk orders. Regardless they will not touch it.

    dave's wet cat food

    By on

My cats (21) total who were always given a raw natural diet are being fed can and dry food because of the virus. The cats did not like dave's. Most of them smelled the food and walked away. They are not food spoiled, so I trust their judgement. I thought it smelled ok, but the cats felt differently. I also thought the cans were not really filled, when compared with other brands I have tried, during this sad time.
