Since this is 100% herring oil would it be safe as a supplement?

This moisturizer is not intended to be used as a supplement. Brush off any loose debris from the horses hoof wall and apply Fish Oil with a rag or brush. Can be used on a daily basis.

Moisturizing
I recommend. I live in a very dry state and it really does put moisture back in my horses feet and helps prevent them from cracking. Very easy to apply.
