This is an excellent product that I feed to both my horses and my Mini-Mule. It waws recommended by my Veterinarian for my 22 yr. old 16h. Mustang Gelding, my 14.3h

This is an excellent product that I feed to both my horses and my Mini-Mule. It waws recommended by my Veterinarian for my 22 yr. old 16h. Mustang Gelding, my 14.3h. 4 yr. old Lucitano Gelding in training, and my 3 yr. old rescue Mini-Mule, so you can see how versatile it is because it's suitable for all 3 of them with their own situation. It's very palatable and the digestive ingredients, as far as I'm concerned, are essential for any and every horse whether they have digestive "issues" or not. My three are calmer and have super healthy poo on these pellets as a result of the digestive balance supplement. No matter whether they are young, old, in training, pleasure horses, traveling or showing, this supplement definitely promotes a healthy gut.

Nutrena Empower Digestive Balance has worked really well for my horses. I like that it provides probiotics for gut health, marine-sourced calcium to help manage stomach acid, and comes in an easy-to-feed pelleted form. My horses love the peppermint flavor and eat it eagerly every time. The only drawback has been keeping up with the recommended multiple feedings per day, which can be a challenge with my schedule, but the positive results make it worth using.

Our somewhat picky senior horses all ate this supplement readily! We’ve also noted as our gang are all black horses that have lightened out over the hot summer that since starting with this supplement that their coats are darker and that 2 of the 3 have even filled out a bit in their hindquarters. They have free access to hay and grass and get extra feed daily but this has actually helped put back some of the weight that the stress of the summer weather has caused. A big positive for the digestion is providing benefits we can see. And that includes some joyful full speed ahead runs back to the pasture for their Nutrena! Empower seems a good description here!

Approved but I still need more time regarding results. I fed this with my ole boys senior feed and they ate it well. It is a plus that they all love a peppermint

Approved but I still need more time regarding results. I fed this with my ole boys senior feed and they ate it well. It is a plus that they all love a peppermint as a treat. It was a bit dusty. It has a faint peppermint aroma. My 4 boys and 1 gal are above 20 + yoa and only one of them took more than one feeding to accept it.

Nice product! Both my horse and my moms had severe EPM this summer so we are always looking for a nice supplement for them. This checks lots of boxes for gut health!

Nice product! Both my horse and my moms had severe EPM this summer so we are always looking for a nice supplement for them. This checks lots of boxes for gut health! Easy to feed and they consume no problem. Only downfall is the volume consumed each day (3 cups), which gets pricey.

I have been using this feed supplement for a week now. It is too soon to see any results but the horses seem to like it. Sometimes horses will turn up their nose

I have been using this feed supplement for a week now. It is too soon to see any results but the horses seem to like it. Sometimes horses will turn up their nose and not eat anything you top dress their feed with but they like this. One of my horses has had ulcers in the past so I like to keep him on something that will control any issues that could crop up. Nutrena is a good company so I expect this product to do as it is intended.

When I found out that Nutrena offers a similar product, I decided to give it a try. It has a sweet, somewhat herbal smell and has proven to be a success. My gelding obviously prefers it.

I was a little skeptical about this feed at first because of the smell, it had this odd smell of almost like old car cigarette to me at least, so I was not sure

I was a little skeptical about this feed at first because of the smell, it had this odd smell of almost like old car cigarette to me at least, so I was not sure how the horses would take to it as they are kind of picky to smells and taste, but, they actually devoured it, and had no hesitation and it seemed like it kept their tummies, pretty settled for older horses.
