No better or worse than others
Due to unreasonable hay prices (for horrible quality hay) I've begun feeding pellets. This one is ok. As with all large alfalfa pellets this must be soaked. I'm still shopping around, but for now this will work.
Very disappointed
Very disappointed received my package in good shape but pouring the first bag into the feed bin almost had me in a coughing fit due to the dust and the sour smell of it. Both bags were dusty and my horses wanted nothing to do with this feed Even thought they go Gaga over any other alfalfa including Dumor and Standlee. I will not be purchasing Alfafa pellets again. I now have a 100lbs of unwanted alfalfa pellets.

The product arrived in good condition, but not in a Chewy box. The shipping label was affixed directly to the bag. It was undamaged, fresh, and my horses love it.

Quarter horse
11 yr old quarter horse gelding a little thin after winter using as supplement to get weight back on him. He’s not a fan but after the “good stuff” is gone he does eat.
Great for my old horse
My old mare will not eat hay or alfalfa stems. With these pellets, there is much less waste and I can soften them with water. She loves alf pellets mixed with beet pulp and hot water in winter!
Unpalatable
My mare refuses to eat these pellets. They are soaked in water for 10 minutes. She sniffs her bucket and promptly walks away.
