It absorbs water quickly

Seems to absorb water quickly and it works for a Cushing's horse because it's not straight alfalfa also helps with weight gain and making sure horses get their extra

Large pellets easily soaked

This was really easy to soak. I didn't have to soak it hours a head of time. The horses loved it and ate with no question!

Mostly powder

The pellets came mostly powdered/dusty. Not ideal for our horse will asthma. We gave them to our neighbor.
