Bad bottle
I've seen a friend use this in her tank firsthand and she swears by it, hers has always been mostly clear and doesn't smell (she sources from a local store). Just got my bottle from chewy today and I can only assume I got a bottle from a bad batch or chewy somehow stored it improperly. It's yellow, very cloudy, and smells putrid. Put a single capful in my tank and it congealed almost immediately which is not what it did when I've seen my friend add it to her tank. An hour later I still see clumps of it on my sand, no way I'm adding the full amount (another 100mL for my size tank). Very disappointed, hope it doesn't kill my whole community. I doubt I'll source any fish care items from chewy in the future for fear of getting another 'bad batch' of a generally well-liked product.
Hold your nose
I ordered this by accident. Meant to get Aquascafe Plus, which is a good product. This stuff though, is not only nasty looking but it smells like rotten eggs. No way would I put this in my aquarium with fish. I put it in my aquarium that flushes!

Good value
This is a value size bottle. I have never seen one this large in the store. I use it every time I change the water in my aquarium and in between changes, when I add water. The cost is much better per ounce than the smaller bottles.
Like the results
As others have pointed out-THIS IS NOT A WATER CONDITIONER. It does not remove chlorine from new tap water, like a water conditioner does. I use this weekly, as stated on the label, to balance the aquarium water's PH. I've got a 38 gallon with large fancy fantail goldfish. They eat, pee and poop a lot. I was having an ammonia problem. Easy Balance Plus helps to eliminate waste, uneaten food, and the ammonia-reduces nitrates & phosphates. Regulates ideal PH. With weekly Easy Balance use, and recommended aeration & proper filtering, frequent water changes are reduced (once every 6 months). I've been using it to rid the tank of ammonia. After 2 months of use, my fish are happy and thriving. No ammonia issue! Reducing water changes will be an added plus!
Goldfish products
This is an excellent product that I have used for years. Just follow the directions and you won't have to make as many water changes to the freshwater tank. I must be doing something right because my goldfish, Thumper, is 13 years old.
Easy balance
So I bought this product after doing a water test for gh,kh,ph,nitrates, and nitrites etc. everything was perfect for my flowerhorn, but nitrates were at 80ppm and I couldn’t get them down. I bought this and boy did it make it cloudy like I just stirred up waste in the gravel. However within two days it cleared up and within 24 hours nitrates were at 0 ppm and everything else stayed where it was prior to using this. It hasn’t gotten cloudy again when I used it that following week. This was in a 44 gallon tank with one flowerhorn cichlid in case you wondered. In short ( 100%) recommend this product .
