Decent litter, hides the cat pee smell pretty well
My cats seem to approve of this litter. The mild scent is also good at hiding the smell of cat pee. It does smell a bit like detergent so if your cat is very particular about smells then you may want to take that into consideration. The litter pieces are pretty big but I prefer it this way since smaller grains generally cause more of a mess after the cat leaves the litter box.

My Lil Buddy JC gives it 5 Stars. I usually get the clumping Tidy Cat but I ordered this one by mistake one time. I like this one much better. It’s not dusty like the clumping one. His box is much easier to keep clean. It does keep the place smelling fresh. But most of all my Lil Buddy likes it. I’d recommend you try it out. You just might be surprised.
So far so good
I got this one because it doesn’t clump up and once in a great while my dog manages to sneak in to and I know this is disgusting but she will eat the cat poop and the non clumping litter is less likely to cause an obstruction in my dog. Although I do my best to keep her out of it she’s very resort full and like I said sneaky.
Don't recommend!
For some reason this litter is different than what I've been ordering - it's got a completely different texture than what is currently in the litter box, though I reordered this same product from previous orders. Not sure what's up but I don't recommend it
Good litter, as advertised!
This is honestly a wonderful litter, and most complaints lobbied against this litter are due to lack of reading. It does NOT clump, but then again it says that in the title and on the bag. Why in the world you would get it, an then be upset that it doesn't clump is beyond me. Though some cat parents consider it essential, there are some cases where clumping litter just isn't viable, and for my cat-kids (2 out of 4, anyway) it isn't. So this litter really fits what I need, and it's virtually dust free which is always a bonus! I don't really get any fragrance from it, but then again maybe my nose isn't that great. Either way, I prefer it that way. I don't like strongly artificially scented litter, and I doubt my cats do either. And for those who say it stinks...I have four adult cats who have healthy digestive systems - that is to say they go potty an average number of kitty times. I clean all five of my litterboxes 1-2 times a day and never encounter a smell as long as I do that, and a full change weekly! So, again for me this is an A+!
Cats and mama like it
Honestly, I switched to Tidy Cat from another well-known brand initially b/c of cost. But there is SO much less dust!! It's easier to scoop wet-ish litter out. And my cats haven't skipped a beat. I will ALWAYS watch the cost of things, but this was a pleasant switch!
They must have changed their product??
I recently ordered this Tidy Cats, which I have always used for my cats, but THIS TIME, it was totally different. Not sure if Tidy Cats changed their litter or if this was a mistake, but the litter is normally a kind of chunky clay litter, which my cats have grown accustomed to. Unfortunately, this was a very dark "sand-type" product which is a HUGE MESS!
Worst litter ever
It doesn't control the smell even a little bit and because it is non clumping, you can't get the pee out so I have to throw away most of the litter when I clean the litter box or the pee soaked litter will be left behind and it will still stink. This litter is a waste of money.

I've purchased this same product more than once, but this was not the same quality. It was crappy before the cat set foot in the box. Clumpy? , until you touched it with the poop scoop, then it fell apart. A bag of oil dry would be cheaper and better. Won't buy it again.
