Lark says nope

My cat loves the tiki cat that is like shreds and pieces. So I thought I'd add a different taste and texture to her week and got a smaller pack of the pate' version of the same brand to try. First thing I noticed, is that it doesn't set in a brothy juice and it is pretty dry-ish from that standpoint still soft mousse-like texture and smelled ok to me. But I do know she loves to lick the broths with the tiki shredded kind and even with orijens brand's pate that sits in a broth. So I wasn't sure if she'd enjoy this one. I offered it to her anyway, but sadly she sniffed it, licked it once and looked up at me like "you're kidding right?!" She never did eat it in the end. So I should stick to what I know she prefers. I am just going to get the shreds and pieces varieties that tiki offers and that she seems to love. If I get pate I'll go back to orijen which has the broth. I'm still learning what she likes and a mousse style pate isn't it. Little picky girl apparently prefers texture and broth.

the texture

I think it is fine. Beam will eat it and then decide not to. I love the Tiki Cat products. He loves the kibble, that's why I thought he would love the wet food

My cat is a strict fancy feast girl for whatever reason but I have been introducing her to this food and I’ve been able to get her to like it within a week! That has never happened before she hasn’t liked friskes, nulo, purina none of the leading brands besides fancy feast, but she loves the chicken flavor of tiki cat!

Nice thought

I thought this would be a big hit, but my cats weren;t really thrilled with it, not sure why. They ate some of it, but not the whole thing. I thought it looked ok

Cats got upset tummies!!

My cats were happy with the food at first, then their tummies could not handle this food and eventually they would not eat it.

Cat doesn’t like it.

I know this is a good food but if the cat won’t eat it then it doesn’t matter much. It’s pretty pricey and they won’t eat it.
