Cats of all ages can use this cat litter. It is generally not recommended to use clumping cat litter for kittens, since out of curiosity your kitten might try to eat the litter. This can later cause gastrointestinal issues. Avoid problems by using non-clumping litter until the they are about 4 months old.

Quality Fall Off

The clumping ability of this cat litter is just no longer there, it has gotten worse in quality over the past several months. We have 4 cats, and go through several boxes of this month, and we have used this product for years. I am going to no longer be buying this product

Tidy Cat Litter

I have bought cheaper brands thinking I was getting more litter for less. Well honestly, I was getting more litter. But what good is getter a little more but isn't effective on the oder cat waste leaves behind. I'm a real clean freak about when my cat poos. I clean the litter box two to 3 times a day. With Tidy Cat vs cheaper brands it takes care of the odor even after the cat waste is properly disposed of! Lesson learned stay with the product that does the work!

Silty litter

Thought getting the litter in a bulk box would be better than the plastic tubs...but the litter is super fine, like silt...and now all over the floors.

HATE the box!

I got substituted the box (was getting pails) during the inventory shortage last year. HATE, HATE, HATE the box! Too heavy, hard to pour. 1 out of 10 leaked some in the shipping box which left a mess. I was happy to find that the pails are back! I switched back to the pails! With the pails, I can easily carry them and pour by holding the bottom lip of the pail. I don't remember ever receiving pails that were leaking liter in the shipping box. The liter itself was fine -- but the box packaging absolutely sucks.

Too heavy.

The current packaging is far too heavy. While the actual product is good the handling is extremely difficult and for older users almost impossible and poses a risk of back or other injury.

Heavy and awkward packaging

Good litter, but wish it came in more convenient packaging. No handle and for many of us, lifting 40 lbs of cat litter is not advisable, especially if you’re pushing 70 years old. Also, not easy to open. I need a box cutter to cut through the corrugated cardboard.

So Far, So Good

Purchased this litter for the first time and thus far it has been excellent; I like it and the cats like it! Tidy Max litter appears to create less dust and has better better clumping qualities than some of the other Tidy Cats litter we have used previously; if this keeps up, we will be regular uses of Tidy Max!

Best Pick for Multi-Cat Households

Our unscented litter just wasn't working out. I was hesitant to switch to scented litter because they often are overpowering, but this stuff is great! It is fresh-scented, but not overpowering. I only need to do complete litter changes every two weeks with this litter. Great value!
