Iams ProActive Health Healthy Adult Original with Chicken Dry Cat Food

GREAT CAT FOOD

I worked for an Iams distributor quite a few years ago and fed Eukanuba as well as other Iams dog food products to my sled-dogs for over 30 years so I knew Iams was a reputable company and made a great product. While working at the big feline shows in New Hampshire I noticed the majority of cat breeders fed Iams cat food. So when I finally had cats for pets I fed Iams cat food and have been impressed with energy levels, long good health and excellent coats on the several cats I have owned over a long eriod of time.

Our cats love it!

Over the past 24 years it's been our household's staple dry food. For 24 years our eight cats and both feral strays I've fed it to enjoy it. We've occasionally tried other dry foods but none were as popular or apparently easy on the stomach. One of my feral friends was later adopted by a coworker at age seven; he refuses to eat any other dry food. Our longest-lived indoor cat happily made it to 18 years. I wouldn't serve anything else.

Cats like it; Vet recommended it

I have 3 cats and was trying to find the healthiest food for them, tried a lot, also trying to get them to eat canned, all 3 picky and 2 females after being spayed are now overweight so I’m working on cutting down food. My vet recommended IAMS regular adult chicken dry food so I switched and they all like it, it’s affordable, and although it’s not for weight control it does have L-Carnitine which boosts energy and could help them lose weight. It will be a slow process but I have noticed a difference already. I also have a male cat, very active so he doesn’t have a problem. My cats are happy and I’m happy that I found a food they like and it seems to be good quality. I also give them can food but they prefer the dry and now this regular IAMS chicken is on my auto order and it’s working great for my cats. Highly recommend it. I also give it to a couple outdoor strays and they like it too, that’s why I started buying the larger bag.

Improper order

Did not receive 42# of Fresh step Unscented as ordered as requested, spoke with agent on phone was told things would be straightened out, which is not true. Very dissatisfied.

Cali-Kitty LOVES IAMS.

My 1.5 years old kitty LOVES her kitty food, IAMS (ProActive Health Healthy Adult)! She has minimal shedding, and her coat is so soft and shiny. I highly recommend this product.

The food was fine. The cat sand Horrible, was in its own box and thrown on the steps so it busted open! This is the Second time this has happened! Quite the mess to clean up in the house! Cat sand Everywhere!

Two picky cats love this

We have two cats that will only eat this dry food (iams). If we put something else out it will sit . They are same about their wet food too.

Cats love their Iams

The outdoor neighborhood cat prefers this to the wet food I tried on him. Pan paws at the cupboard door for her Iams and Beau enjoys his dry Iams snacks in the evening.
