Tiki Cat After Dark Wild Pate

Tiki Cat After Dark Wild Pate is a line of complete and balanced meals that closely mimic a cat’s natural prey diet. Now with unique proteins like rabbit, duck and venison and nutrient-dense organ meat, they’ll satisfy your cat’s carnivore cravings.

The Hunt Is Over

Cats know the best hunting happens After Dark. As obligate carnivores, cats crave protein. These unique and flavorful recipes are packed with real meat to provide the high-protein, grain-free nutrition cats need to thrive.

Mimics a Cat's Natural Prey Diet

When cats ancestors hunted for prey, the first parts they would consume were the organs. Today, organ meats like liver, gizzard and heart are still feline favorites, so After Dark recipes include them to satisfy those wild cravings.

Packed with Nutrient-Dense Organ Meats

Organ meats are excellent sources of protein and loaded with important vitamins, minerals, and amino acids—plus, they’re super tasty, too. Easy-to-eat and full of moisture from a rich, meaty broth, these pâtes will satisfy even the pickiest cats.

I tried the variety pack and this is the only flavor my cat likes. I accidentally bought the same flavor in the pate version but she wouldn’t touch it. This version has visible pieces of meat as well as some juice. Highly recommend.

She ate it once. I was doing a taste test with single cans purchased from another vendor. Of the other 3 test cans 2 also had beef liver of some kind and rejected those as well. She eats some chicken liver, I think. I was aiming for venison because she loved it in some of the limited ingredient products she had to eat at one time. So she tricked me and wolfed down one can and so I ordered the pack. Have a discussion with your cat before buying.

Appetizing to my cats

They both enjoyed it and since one of my cats is allergic to chicken this is a good option.

DO NOT GIVE TIKI CAT YOUR BUSINESS

My cat has severe allergies to chicken and many other things. He has been on this food all of his life so far. It has been the only food that he has not vomited

My cat has severe allergies to chicken and many other things. He has been on this food all of his life so far. It has been the only food that he has not vomited from. Mind you, we have tried prescription hydrolyzed food, a GI diet, everything. After 7 months of my cat eating this food with no issues, he started randomly vomiting and having allergy issues. I found out that General Mills bought the Tiki Cat brand in November of 2024. The formula has changed without them updating the ingredient label yet. The old formula is just now fading out. Any of the cans that expire 2027 or sooner were made before the purchase by General Mills and are still ok to feed your cat. General Mills most likely added cheaper ingredients to save money and are still selling the food for the same price! Do not give them business anymore!

Better than nothing

He will eat it, after a while, but he isn't happy with it.

My cat loves these

As someone whose cat has a poultry allergy, it’s really hard to find novel proteins that aren’t super pricy. I know Tiki Cat just sold to General Mills but my cat

As someone whose cat has a poultry allergy, it’s really hard to find novel proteins that aren’t super pricy. I know Tiki Cat just sold to General Mills but my cat loves this recipe and it’s a more affordable option for us than other brands that have venison. As long as my cat doesn’t have a reaction, I’ll keep buying

Helps to have a full belly before long stretch

This is the end of the day treat to hold her over. Helps keep her full and not buggin out too early.

We’ve been rotating Tiki Cat in their diet for quite some time now but this current batch they(Tiki Cat) put out has made my cat vomit after meal, almost immediately. A possibility due to that Tiki Cat has recently been bought out by General Mills and changed the ingredients.

It's a struggle to get all four to love a food. But I did manage to get several in rotation. Another brand is SUPER expensive, but they all LOVE the venison. Was trying to add a lower priced one to the mix. At first it was 2 of the 4 who were boycotting, so I just gave to the two who liked it. I guess it was a fluke as they are now refusing too. Too bad, as I loved the ingredients on this one. Glad I was able to order a smaller version - rather than an entire case being donated.
