I wasn’t sure how they would feel about the texture since it is a jelly like texture which is something they had never had before. I mixed in some water with this food and they loved it. I enjoy the easy to open packets this food comes in as well makes feeding time easier, which is nice when you have three hungry cats.

My cat is 17 years old and is very particular about her likes and dislikes. She likes fish flavors and mostly tuna. The Gelee is a variety pack with tuna, tuna and shrimp and tuna and crab. She really loved the tuna but wouldn’t eat the other flavors. Tried many times but no luck. The fish is in a thick gel but Molly (my cat) liked it. I found the pouches difficult to deal with because they don’t reseal. Had to put each one in a baggy.

My cats love this and I love that the first ingredient is meat instead of a filler. The gelee keeps the chunky meat together so it’s not messy and makes serving it so much easier. I pour it out and the bag is clean so I don’t need to scrape it. I use it as a topper since I care for a lot of cats—my own and strays. They fight over it. When I need to give oral flea medication for my strays, I use it to mask the taste of the medication and it works really well.

One of my three cats is a chubby boy who has been advised to cut back. :( I decided to give this a try to see if it could help on his weight loss quest. He has tried all three flavors and LOVES them all. The consistency of the gelee is a bit strange to me, but he loves it. I break it up a little with a fork, but I don't even know if he cares. He is a chubster, but still discriminating and will often try to bury food he finds unappealing. He does not try to bury this! In fact, he cries for me to give him his plate faster! HE IS SOLD! :) This is a hit.

It comes out of the packet in a big clump but once you break up the gelee and mix it around it becomes much more appetizing. Both my Minnaloushe and Mimi really love this product and ate it up as soon as it hit the bowl. They love fish so it's definitely a winner for them. Great product, highly recommended if your cat is a fish lover.

And then dove in like she'd snagged a fish in a fish market! She absolutely loved it. I would definitely recommend this to any cat parent whose cat(s) love fish.
