Where is this cat food made

Answer by ChewyMar 19, 2020
Tiki wet diets are manufactured in Thailand. Thailand produces millions of pounds of human food every year for the United States and Europe and has dedicated human-grade certified canning lines. Tiki diets are hand-packed side-by-side with human food diets. Tiki fisheries are members of the International Seafood Sustainability Foundation (ISSF) and support initiatives to protect our marine environments from pollution and damage.

What is the dry matter percentage of phosphorus and sodium?

Answer by ChewyJun 29, 2019
This recipe has a sodium content of 0.08% as fed and 0.35% on a dry matter basis. It has a phosphorus content of 0.25% as fed and 1.09% on a dry matter basis.

What is the carb percentage of a dry matter basis? You only answered with the as fed amount which is useless in terms of how the food actually affects a cats blood sugar levels.

We used to purchase the wild salmon for years and took a break when we lost one of our cats. Purchased the 6oz. case of 8 recently, and the quality has noticeably declined. The texture is minced and no more larger, thicker cuts. AND THE COLOR!! It’s off putting and grayish in color..every can. HOWEVER, our cat seems to still approve of the flavor because she does finish every can with no adverse reactions. Probably won’t circle back to this one. Just a personal opinion!

My boys like it!

We were doing salmon once a week from another brand but they wouldn’t eat it anymore. This does the trick and I’m so grateful that so far it’s not being snubbed

Clean with no additives!

I have 3 rescues different ages that are very particular with what they’ll eat. Everyone lives this flavor and it’s healthy.

We’ve been a tiki cat household for 17 years and my cat used to love this one but over time he’s turned away from the salmon and a few other flavors. My mom’s cat won’t touch it as well as the two strays I’ve been feeding. I’ve never seen that before but I’m going to stop buying this one, something is weird.

Good alternative to Halo

We like to give this to Pinky as an alternate. It's a good size can (6 oz.) and I appreciate that it's wild caught salmon - or so they say.

The Fab Five Loves It

No fussing about a new flavor or texture. They all devoured it with some much as a single complaint.

I ordered this because I'm looking for low iodine. However my cat will not eat it. I don't know why but for a cat with hyperthyroidism you would think he'd eat anything. He wanted his regular food. My other cats didn't eat it either. Trying hill's science yd. Hoping he will like this. I can't speak for every cat.
