Prey-Inspired Veterinary Diets

Tiki Cat Veterinary Solutions are formulated to help the most common medical conditions in cats: obesity, urinary tract disorders, diabetes, and IBD. Made with high-protein, low-carb, ultra-hydrating ingredients, they mimic cats' natural prey diet.

Inspired by Nature. Backed by Science.

Cats are obligate carnivores—in the wild, they get everything they need from prey. Cats today have the same nutritional needs and will naturally choose a diet close to that of natural prey: 52% protein, 36% fat, 60-80% moisture, and up to 12% carbs.

Real Food For Real Solutions

Made with real meat and fish in a savory broth, these prescription recipes are aromatic and highly palatable. Choose from GI-Health, pH-Balance, Gluco-Balance, and Lo-Calorie diets, or try Mousse Stix to help stimulate appetite.

The Vet Diets Cats Choose

Cats with medical needs can be selective about what they’ll eat. That's why tasty Veterinary Solutions come in two different flavors (chicken or fish) and three textures (flaked, shreds, or mousse) to satisfy even the pickiest cats.

About Tiki Cat Veterinary Solutions

Tiki Cat Veterinary Solutions offers prey-inspired prescription diet formulas made with high levels of protein and minimally processed ingredients. Each solution is formulated specifically to help manage the most common medical conditions in cats.

I purchased this to give my cat that needs to be on a urinary tract diet a bit of variety. I guess it was the "new food honeymoon effect" but he went for it the first can or two. Now, even mixed in with his other rx diet (Royal Canin) he doesn't like it. Pretty sure I've wasted my money on this. The texture is like chicken that's been in a blender with no liquid. It's a "dry" pate if that makes sense. Urinary canned diets usually contain more moisture. And the smell is very unappealing. Not going to buy this again and not sure what I'm going to do with the 14 cans I have left as my other 3 cats won't touch it either. Back to his Royal Canin!

My cat started eating non-Rx Tiki Cat "mousse" wet food when she was kitten (Baby Mousse, then the adult version). She needed the mousse texture due to a very painful dental condition. Even though the dental issue was finally resolved, she retained a strong preference for the mousse foods. When the vet recommended a urinary health diet, the first prescription food (Royal Canin pate) was completely rejected by the cat, as expected. After some digging, I was so pleased and relieved to find Tiki Cat Veterinary Solutions available in mousse form. However, I was very disappointed when I opened the can, as this is definitely not a mousse. It is more like dry, very finely shredded chicken, which is disagreeable to the cat who is accustomed to the pudding-like mousse texture. Although she will pick at this Rx food, so far, the only way I can get her to eat it is to mix in some non-Rx Tiki Cat mousse, which defeats the purpose of a prescription diet. I haven't given up, because I don't know what else to try for her urinary diet. But this definitely should not be called "mousse". On the plus side, if I hadn't needed a mousse textured cat food, I think this would have been very palatable food, especially compared to other prescription foods. It doesn't even smell like cat food; it smells more like cooked chicken breast to my human nose.

Real Chicken

You could tell this was lightly processed food and the cats love it - it looks like real shredded chicken.

This was the last resort for Charley's urinary prescription foods with high hopes. Unfortunately he did not eat at all. All will be donated at this point. After speaking with the vet, I would move back to a regular food and monitor his condition. At least he still have a good appetite.

We have a very picky eater. We tried multiple different wet cat foods and she would ignore it. When we got to the Tiki Cat brand she took to it right away and I was sold. I did a bit more research and found the pH balance, that would help with her health and I love that it is grain free.
