USED to love it. Now she HATES it.

For the first couple months she loved it but then she started to refuse to eat it. She will lick the gravy but not eat the chunks. It was sold out for a while and when I purchased it again that's when she refused it. I think the recipe changed because there's no way she gobbled it up so happily and then all of a sudden hates it. The food also SMELLS, way worse than when I first purchased it last year. It smells so bad it makes my whole kitchen/garbage smell bad. I had also purchased the orange box of extra gravy but when I ordered it again she hates that flavor even more. I am reluctantly switching her to fancy feast. ugh.

smaller chunks

I'm trying to get my cats used to Tiny Tiger since its the closest to Fancy Feast ( which they like)also, it's not as expensive (yet) They love the gravy and lick it clean and leave the chuncks and until hunger gets the best of them and they will nibble on the dry chuncks. I know they would be more inclined to eat the solid part of the food if the chunks were not so big . Sometimes I put it in the blender...but thats not quite the solution. Perhaps you can think of another. We will continue to buy IT and other products from CHEWY...We love CHEWY!

A Surprise Hit! Feels Great Feeding Them This

YES!!! My cats approved thank goodness!!! I’ve been giving them Fancy Feast varieties all their life but I knew I needed to get them some better nutrition. I’ll detail my process for anyone who’s looking to make a similar switch like I did. I’m so happy to confirm it was possible. I feel great knowing their eating more real meat and getting lots of water from the gravy that they love! This Tiny Tiger seafood pack I realized paired so nicely with the Fancy Feast seafood pack that my cats adore, so I ordered equal parts of both. For the first meal, I mixed a half can of Tiny Tiger (TT) tuna with a full can of Fancy Feast (FF) tuna in a little bowl. The TT added so much of the gravy that they love but I had yet to see their reaction to the taste. I also added extra water, I recommend doing this for all cats but especially male ones. It makes more gravy and gives them lots of hydration which keeps them from painful FLUDT flare ups. Trust me, it’s tough going through it so give ‘em water wherever you can! This first trial of the 1:2 TT:FF ratio was a smash hit! They loved it instantly, no suspicious sniffing either. I gave them their usual portion initially and plastic wrapped the mixed bowl to save for following meals so they continued to get used to it. For the next mix I chose the Seafood variant of both variety packs and did 1:1 TT:FF, still adding the water and mixing. They loved this one even more! I haven’t switched to full TT servings yet because I actually like this mixing method a lot. It’s a good balance for now, the FF adds a flakiness that the TT is missing and the TT gives the gravy and nutrition. I believe that if I increase this TT/FF water mix, I can potentially decrease their kibble amount and support their health even more. I do a similar mix of Blue Wilderness kibble and prescription Urinary Support kibble as reference so it’s decent! But still, canned wet meat is better. All in all, if you’re looking to step away from FF, whether partly or fully, Tiny Tiger is a successful brand to use to do that. I see myself getting this for a long time! Cat approved through and through!

I don't understand

My three cats would not eat this food. I was hoping to save a couple of bucks buying this instead of the Fancy Feast that they like. Not a single one of them would even touch it. They looked at it, smelled it and walked away. I left it for a few hours and still no takers. Now I have 21 cans of cat food that I can't use. Hopefully I can find a place to donate the remainder.

tiny tiger

I ordered a case to try. the cats thought the first can was their best treat since Christmas. Have two cats. the oldest has only three teeth. I think he loved the gravy as still licks the gravy but leaves the solids. I'll still older as a special treat but it will have to have smaller chuck to be a winner with my old fellow. It's still a hit with my younger cat.

the Cat likes it

Let me start by stating that my cat likes the food (so does the dog) so it must be good. that said, the gravy is very runny, actually looks like water. The chunks are a nice bite size. It does not smell gross so I can feed it in the morning and not gag. I misread the product description and thought it was bigger cans...lesson learned.

She loves the gravy

Who knows why a cat can be so picky? My domesticated feral will only eat little chunks in gravy (but only seafood and chicken and especially this brand.) Her other favorite is dry food, which is portioned out to prevent weight gain. She will eat Fancy Feast. Thank heavens TT is readily available on Chewy.

Chopped steak!

Radik and Mia , our Siamese loveeeee Tiny tiger! They are very picky eaters so I was pleased to see how much they enjoy having Tiny Tiger . I’ve purchased every flavor for my sweet Siamese and I’ll continue. The meal looks like real chopped steak with lots of gravy or real chicken and fresh fish!

Cat not interested by end of meal

My cats always leave about 20% of the cat in the dish, so a lot goes to waste. I’m guessing this is because the gravy is separated from the food chunks and once they’ve eaten all the gravy up, the chunks of food have no interest to them.

Do not buy this swill

Your better off feeding your cats left over items from a dumpster. In addition to feeding my fur babies, i also always leave of food for all the starving alley strays...Ya im that girl... Even they wont eat this trash. The smell is pungent, the gravy is clear and the "meat/fish" looks loke rubber. Do Not Buy!!
