Seafood-loving kitty approved!
Our 4YO cat loves seafood and this variety pack was no exception. He gobbled up the first portion of the dark blue can so quickly he regurgitated it a moment after eating (he never vomits). Pretty sure he learned from that experience since he hasn't regurgitated the food since then, but this pack is definitely approved by him! Granted, he has never been a very picky eater, but he does favor the seafood flavors, so I'd recommend this if your kitty is also a little fishy addict.
Too small and expensive.
When I couldn’t get my regular Friskies 32 pack of seafood, I tried this at Chewy’s suggestion. I never looked close enough to see the size, and just assumed that they would offer me something comparable in size and flavors. And it was even a little bit cheaper. Boy was I surprised when I opened the box, and found the small cans. Taste wise, my cats don’t act like there’s any difference. But now I have use 4 cans a day to feed my 4 cats, instead of the 1 1/2 to 2 cans of the Friskies regular 5.5oz size. It’s a pain to have to open so many cans, clean them for recycling, and have them laying around the kitchen drying out. All right, so I’m lazy. But when you have so many animals, I have dogs too, feeding time around our house is kind of chaotic, with everyone under foot, wanting to be first. Two of the cats even whine to show their displeasure at having to wait a couple of minutes for me to dish it all out. Hopefully, Purina will get their supply problems worked out, and I won’t have to always be scrambling, trying to find my cat food. So I can’t recommend these as I think they are just too expensive for what you get. My cats are all older, and are doing great on the Friskies they have eaten for years.
I was worried that switching to a grain-free diet would dissuade my cat from eating this, but the seafood packs are always her go to & this one wasn’t any different! I think it’s such a wonderful price for what you get, as she’s still working on hers (I give her about a half a can a day, more if she’s hungry. But, she usually doesn’t eat the half in one sitting). She’s gotten a little heavier with us having a kitten in the house, so I changed her food to match his the best I could (Dry Purina Plus for Adults), and I did fancy feast for her wet food. It was an easy transition from Fancy Feast to this one, and considerably better priced for me! I feel better knowing I’m giving her something a bit healthier. She looks better already and her coat is super shiny with that Alaskan Salmon Oil she loves.
Not their best option
My cats have been loving the turkey bits in gravy so I figured I’d branch out and get them this variety pack to try. They generally LOVE fish flavors. They go crazy for the fancy feast seafood pack so I figured this option is about $1 cheaper so I should try it. They didn’t HATE it but they really had to force themselves to eat it, and kept looking up at me like “are you gonna give us something else?”
No go for my 3 cats!
I wanted to try this brand again and see if they would eat the pate because they didn't like the chunks, but they literally won't even take a bite of any of it. Another donation to the rescue, but I can't say that it isn't a good food just because mine don't like it.
My cat loves these
My friend recommended Tiny Tiger as an alternative to a brand that is owned by a huge company we disagree with their social policies. My cat only likes pates. These are inexpensive & the cans are so cute!
It's a No Go
Tried this, as our cats prefer pate over other options, as a change of pace. All four of our cats thumbed their noses at this and refused to eat it. One star for us, but others may have a different experience.
My cat loves it..
My cat loves tiny tiger over the big name brand like blue. I love that it comes right to my door. Was having trouble finding wet food during this cat food shortage. I get all my pets need right from chewy.
amazing for the price!
Tiny Tiger is one of those rare, rare cat foods that I literally have never had a single feline refuse to eat it. The fact that it is inexpensive is appreciated, but buy it because it is healthy, and your cats will love it!
Eh... my cats didn't care for it
The name is cute, the package is cute. But the most food-motivated of my several cats, who'll scarf down just about anything, walked away from this cat food. I fed all three flavors to my cats for their evening supper for a couple of weeks, alternating with food they know & like. They never got enthusiastic about any of the flavors. Eventually I gave away the rest of the case. Every cat's different in what they will or will not eat, but I will not get this one again for my cats.
