What is Tiny Tiger? Where is it manufactured?
Tiny Tiger is a cat food and treats brand that is currently sold on Chewy.com. Tiny Tiger follows strict quality standards and FDA regulations and is manufactured in Kansas and Canada with ingredients from around the world.
Do the cans contain BPA?
No, the cans are BPA non-intent.
How do I open the can?
The cans have pull tabs for easy opening (similar to a can of soup).
What do I do with leftover food in the can?
Cover the top of the can and place in the refrigerator. For maximum taste and freshness, serve the leftover food within 3 days of opening.
What if my cat doesn’t like the food when it’s cold?
Place food in a microwave safe dish and cover. Microwave for 15-20 seconds. Stir the food to ensure it’s heated evenly. Before serving, smooth food with a utensil to increase your pet’s ability to lap up their food.
How do I best serve my cat their food?
Empty desired amount into your pet’s serving dish and smooth out the food using a utensil.
How do I identify what protein my cat will enjoy?
It’s important to pay attention to your cat’s behavior as you try new proteins. Some cats are picky and only like one specific protein such as fish or poultry. Once you understand what your cat likes, it’s best to stick to food purchases within that protein family, in order to increase enjoyment of the food by your cat.
How do I identify what wet cat food format my cat will like?
- Since cats prefer to lap their food, they will likely prefer a soft paté or minced chunks in gravy. The loaf format is easy for the cat to lick, and the food will stick to the grooves on their tongue.
- Paté format is a great choice for senior cats or kittens that may have a harder time chewing small meat chunks in a chunks in gravy format.
- If your cat prefers a chunks in gravy format and has no issue with chewing the small meat chunks, then this is a great option for your cat.
Where are the ingredients sourced?
Tiny Tiger ingredients are sourced from reputable suppliers in the US and worldwide, dependent upon availability.
Is this ok for kittens?

No complaints from Penny so far
By Jenni on Feb 15, 2021
My Penny was having urinary tract issues she used to get dry and canned food. I started out giving her purina one urinarytract formula. That did the job but pricey. I went to fancy feast and no issues with that but I still needed to budget a little more so I thought I would try Tiny Tiger. She seems to enjoy it just as much as the others. She only likes pates so I bought the seafood variety and the beef chicken variety. I would like to see more flavor choices like the others have to offer.

Large chunks of bone
By Twocats72 on Feb 12, 2021
I've been feeding my cats this once a day for about a month and a half now. Every once in a while my older cat while eating would yelp a little. She's new to wet food so I just thought she was eating too fast but I started paying closer attention to the food as I was putting it in the bowl. About a week ago, I open a can and right on top there was a large chunk of bone which was about half the size of my pinky finger nail. Since then I started working on switching their food and have found another piece of bone of similar size. I know bone is good for cats but these pieces seemed too big and since my older cat was yelping I can't continue to feed this to her.

First time Tiny Tiger purchase
By TwoCats on Feb 13, 2021
For years our two cats were on Friskies, but then started getting finicky. I tried them on a couple of other brands and they had been doing pretty well with Fancy Feast. Decided to give Tiny Tiger a try and they are loving it! The only thing I wish is that it was offered in larger can sizes (main reason we used Friskies for so long). Feeding two cats from tiny cans gets expensive and causes unnecessary waste for our planet!

Tiny Tiger - the Winner!
By Coral on Jan 14, 2021
I've been struggling as I've had to switch my elderly cats to canned food. One of my kitty girls is having serious digestive issues... the reason for the shift. My other girl (16) is having a hard time with the change... but neither will eat separately, so finding something that works nutritionally AND they will eat without negative effects... well, I'll just say it has been quite a challenge. Tiny Tiger is my hero! They LOVE it, its gives them good nutrition, there is no digestive upset, and finally... there is peace and routine in our lives.

good on a budget
By 1234 on Jan 24, 2021 Top 1000 Contributor
I got this unlike the rest- with low hopes a s expectations since my cat is super fussy and only likes regular ordinary fancy feast pate but they were out of stock. It took me months to get my cat to eat friskies pate but I had to try thins since the others were out. Her first was salmon and she sniffed it knowing it was *slightly* different and barely took a lick. Well when I got home later she finished her dish which of it was that bad she would have starved before eating it so it’s approved. It’s nearly identical looking to fancy feast and my silly fussy cat will eat it so I’m relieved.

Sadly, even Our Feral did Not Like it.
By UNDESIRED on Feb 16, 2021
Something turns all our cats off to Tiny Tiger. We figured we would try this brand, as its packaging and description looked good, however, our indoor cats, and even the Feral cat that we feed daily Did not like Tiny Cats- Any of its flavors from the case we purchased. . The Fancy Feast, and Meow MIx , .....THOSE They like to eat.

No Thank You
By Beverly on Feb 27, 2021
None of my cats will eat this. Even my outdoor "feral" cats won't touch it and they're gluttons. I also founds pieces of what appears to be bone in the 3 cans I've opened. I'm not impressed and neither are my cats. Will not be buying this again.

Received it and saw meat by products as ingredient.
By Elaine on Feb 5, 2021
I am so disappointed. I thought I checked for the ingredients and there is meat by products. So disappointed b/c I can get cat food from Trader Joe's and there is NO MEAT BY PRODUCT in the ingredients. I hate giving that to my cat but for now I don't have a choice.

an inexpensive alternative
By Pahoozer on Jan 8, 2021
I had been ordering Sheba for my cats for quite a while. That is an excellent cat food for them, and they love it. However, it is on the high end as far as price goes. I ordered Tiny Tiger, and they seem to really enjoy it! I will still give them their Sheba or Fancy Feast 3 days per week, because they are the clear favorite, but since they wolf down the Tiny Tiger, as well, it will become a houshold staple!

Finicky eaters
By patdach on Feb 28, 2021
The Tiny Tiger brand seems to be a keeper; I've thought that about other brands too. They like it most days. Again, cats are who they are which extends to food preferences.
