Do the cans contain BPA?
No, the cans are BPA non-intent.
The cans have pull tabs for easy opening (similar to a can of soup).
Cover the top of the can and place in the refrigerator. For maximum taste and freshness, serve the leftover food within 3 days of opening.
Place food in a microwave safe dish and cover. Microwave for 15-20 seconds. Stir the food to ensure it’s heated evenly. Before serving, smooth food with a utensil to increase your pet’s ability to lap up their food.
How do I best serve my cat their food?
Empty desired amount into your pet’s serving dish and smooth out the food using a utensil.
It’s important to pay attention to your cat’s behavior as you try new proteins. Some cats are picky and only like one specific protein such as fish or poultry. This food doesn't have amazing ingredients, but a fed cat is a happy cat! She likes this food and is happy to eat it. We've gotten this seafood mix box and the Beef/Poultry mix box a few times now and my little Kreep is doing great and likes the variety of flavors!
I am trying to get my diabetic cat off of dry, high carbohydrate kibble. I have introduced him to Tiny Tiger, which is grain-free and lower in carbs. It is keeping his diabetes more well-managed. He like all the fish and fowl flavors. I have had a couple of other cats reject the chicken and turkey flavors, but he likes all of them.
I've bought several different flavor pkgs of pate. My cat is typical, wants a change of food every few days, He tried this in fish flavors etc. tried a bite and walked over to eat his dry food instead. Best I can do is donate to a shelter.
First time trying chewys brand cat food, I usually feed fancy feast, they had a special on their brand so I tried it. My cats LOVE the wet and the dry and the treats!!!
The food becomes very thick and paste-like if it sits out for more than a few minutes or if you store any leftover in the fridge. As soon as it hardens, my kitten doesn't want anything to do with it so I basically have to throw out half the can each time. Good ingredients but no point if half is wasted! Consistency needs to be improved
My boys enjoy the many flavors of Tiny Tiger pate. They loved the sea food variety until recently, and they pulled away from it. I noticed that in the bottom of their bowls, there are little white bone particles. I know this is fairly common as a calcium additive for a lot of pet food but the pieces got bigger. My elderly cat got very ill for a few days and a large bone fragment was discovered by our vet, stuck in his teeth. Upon removing it, his TOOTH BROKE OFF. If you have cats with dental issues or seniors, avoid the fishy flavors of Tiny Tiger. These bone pieces are dangerous.
I ordered this flavor because my cats really like the chicken flvor. None of my cats will touch the seafood blend. Not sure why
My girls will not eat this at all. Even offered it to my dog (who eats everything) and he took a bite and walked away.
Although some by-product healthier than most "grocery store brands", I mix this with nutritious food and my 17 year old loves it! She has hyper-active thyroid... many older cats have this condition. I have to medicate and she is most of the time ALWAYS hungry. It's good to give variety. I try to stay with same main ingredients and grain-free is the way to go especially with sensitive skin and sometimes stomach. She has always done much better with the pate. Shredded has a tendency to come right back up. This product is also priced better. I consider that a bonus!!!! Bravo Tiny Tiger!!!
