do they need to be refrigerated...can they develop bacteria from high heat in the garage?

While these treats should not be refrigerated, they should also not be stored in high heat. Exposure to air, light, hot temperatures and humidity speeds up the rate at which foods degrade. To limit these effects, keep dry food or treats in their original packaging and store in a cool, dry location.

What are they treated with? I've seen natural trachea dried and they are reddish in color from blood or flesh.. these are almost white. Do they bleach them?

These treats are not treated with any chemicals. They are dried by baking only.

Sensitive Tummy

I only gave this 1 star because they made my boy really sick with diarrhea. Don't get me wrong, he absolutely loved them but his gut had other plans.

Great for when I need my dogs to settle for a minute.

My dogs LOVE these. I wouldn't give these too often as they are fatty, but they are fantastic for dogs that need to learn to settle for a bit, like during class

I bought two packages for my 6mo English Mastiff, Sampson. He ate the first package with no issues. I just opened his second bag a few days ago. They're thin, flaky, and poor quality. He has puked them up twice now. He keeps smelling them, spitting them out, and barely eating this second bag. I don't know how this company makes their products, but I trust my gut and Sampsons' reaction to food. He loves trachea and all food, but there's something wrong with these. I'm throwing the rest away, and I will no longer purchase anything from this company again...

packaging change

I've been getting these on autoship. They used to be individually wrapped, and now they're just loose in the bag. The texture is now kind of mushy, where before

I try to get my dogs natural treats , and not bones due to some dogs of my family have had blockages from bones , so I go more natural . These are huge , I break in half due to I am worry about the dogs getting loose stools with eating so much , easy to break in half , these do get soft from chewing so just watch your dogs since my one dog will try to swallow big pieces once soft .
