My puppy really enjoyed licking out the filling from these when he was younger but wasn't very interested in the hoof part. Now that he's older (6 months)with a

My puppy really enjoyed licking out the filling from these when he was younger but wasn't very interested in the hoof part. Now that he's older (6 months)with a stronger jaw he really likes chewing the hoof part also. It does get a little smelly like a barn yard if he is chewing for a long time. Would be 5 stars but if the treat falls onto a hard surface (like off the couch onto tile flooring) sometimes the stuffing just falls out.

Long lasting. My Gracie had a good hour chewing out the inside of this treat. Monitoring my dog was essential. She's a heavy chewer and once she began chewing on the actual hoof. I took it away from her. She was able to get a small chunk off. I kept the remaining hoof for later to stuff peanut butter inside for more fun.
