Top Dog Chews 5"-6" Ox Tail Dog Treats, 25 count

This is definitely not a review of chewy, Chewy.com is by far the best site for pet supplies! Their customer service is bar none! My review is more about top dog chews. I have ordered directly from top dog in the past, ordered these exact oxtail in fact, and received a package with nice, thick, long oxtails that would actually give my dog a few minutes of chewing pleasure. Fast-forward, and a recent order directly from them resulted in chews that were half the length and thickness of previous shipments. I contacted top dog chews and they informed me that there are significant variations in products depend depending on when the oxtail were harvested and someone and so forth. Tried ordering them through chewy instead and believe it or not there even smaller! My guess is top dog shoes probably saves the best for their customers, and ships off the smallest and thinnest to other retailers. That said, at least ordering through chewy is reliable, and again their customer service is top-notch. Top Dog chews, however, could use a little improvement on this product for the price.

My puppy loves these. As the other reviews noted the larger sticks will have a small bone within. I just throw the large sticks out and leave her with the smaller ones. She's been teething all week and these have definitely satisfied her urge to chew my shoes.

I thought these would be great for my dog but despite what the description says about them being digestible, he threw up at 4 am after eating one the evening before. It was filled with pieces of this chew.
