Great for a horse newbie!

This is our first winter owning horses and after the vet told us one of them felt a "little ribby", I have been constantly worried about them keeping weight on in the cold months. Of course this tape isn't perfectly accurate, but at least it helps me to learn to gauge if they are losing weight.

This is just what I needed! We have an old thoroughbred horse who is not an "easy keeper". We also have mini-horses... one who tends to be a bit overweight and one that needs help to maintain weight. So, having the measure tape makes it very easy for me to gage their weight which makes it much easier to balance feed proportion. It is also very helpful when needing a horses weight for deworming. I'm glad I purchased the weight/ height measure tape!

I love Chewy.com because I can order anything I need not just for my dogs but also for my horses. Got this measuring tape very quickly with my monthly Chewy order. Very sturdy tape with clear instructions and clear numbers. Love the velcro tabs that make it easy to keep it rolled up. I need to monitor my horses weight so this is the perfect product.
