How do you measure chest girth? Just across chest or all around body?

Please see the attached size chat to see where to measure your cat. Your cat should You want your cat's harness to be snug, but not restrictive. When you take the measurement, make sure you are close and tight up against your cat, past all the floof. If your cat is in between sizes, go for the bigger size if your cat is still growing, or the smaller size if they are fully grown.

The adjustable Velcro allows it to fit snuggly by comfortably, and the additional clips prevent him from being able to wiggle out of it. He willingly gets into the harness in order to go outside. It’s great!

Nicely designed and well made, but very small

I know my girl is big. She has a very long body, which may be part of why this harness did not fit her. She was well within the recommended chest measurement,

I know my girl is big. She has a very long body, which may be part of why this harness did not fit her. She was well within the recommended chest measurement, but it was a challenge to get her legs in. The velcro closure fit ok,though snug, considering the binding in her legs, but the clip on the loosest setting could not be fastened. I guess her front body proportions affected the fit. She could hardly walk, but as a tolerant cat, she put on a good show of trying for a moment before I removed it. :) So if you have a long-bodied kitty like mine, it may help to size up.

This is really a nice quality harness, but it fits a little big around the neck. My cat is able to squirm out of it. Maybe if it had a piece of velcro there to tighten it. Otherwise,it's really nice and comfy for my cat. It would probably be good for thick necked animals.
