I ordered 2 of these. The second eco refill was fine. The first one i opened for some reason started to get holes in the one corner. I checked the plastic tab and it was all there. It just kept ripping new holes. I finally got disgusted and pulled it ALL out to see whats up. Turns out there was a bit of long plastic inside the bag part that didn't come out until ALL the plastic was out. It was glued in there and that is what ripped holes and the seam on one side. I ended up throwing it away as it was useless to me. The holes would make the stink come out, not to mention the litter spilling out also. The second one is just fine. Ive used Litter Genie for a good 7 years and never had an issue but was willing to try these for cost. I have 4 cats, so i use these a lot. I'm gonna give them another try though. When I need more.

I bought these wanting to cut down on plastic waste. First, I could not for the life of me find the "end" of the bag to install it. I had to pull a bunch out & it was very frustrating. A few days into using them I kept smelling at urine & was convinced one of my kitties had to of peed somewhere even though they never have other than when one had a Urinary blockage. I smelled all around my closet which is where the litter genie was stored - about 25' from where I had been smelling the stink. Even though the genie was not full, I decided to empty & start fresh. About an hour later I realized the smell was completely gone. The cats had not peed anywhere, the new bags were simply NOT controlling order at all. Since I spent money on them I decided to take a scented trash bag & put it down inside the genie, folded out & then close the lid as an extra smell barrier & it has helped tremendously. Once this pack is gone I will probably go back to the others unfortunately.

I've had the same Litter Genie for years and have never had any issues with bad smells, so at first when I started smelling something stinky, I assumed one of my cats had accidentally gone outside of the box. Searched around and couldn't find anything, but realized the smell was coming from the Litter Genie itself, even though it was closed properly and the bag wasn't totally full yet. Even generic replacement bags controlled smell better than these type of bags.

I always try to use the eco-friendly version of any product, and I was very excited to find these bags for the litter genie. Unfortunately, it only took a couple days to notice that these bags do not control odor at all, and I immediately threw these out and repurchased the original ones.

Like many others have stated, the bag rips when you pull it out. It gets caught on the internal pieces of the litter genie and will create tears. The bag will either rip as you pull it out, or rip as soon as you set it down. Do not buy unless bag quality changes. These are not an eco option if you have to use a regular trash bag to avoid making a mess between the litter genie and trash.

We usually change out the bag every two weeks. It has happened several times that the bag tore apart (degraded?) before we took it out and the whole litter genie box smells like fermented poop with actual mold growing from it. Would suggest using a proper trash bag with litter genie instead of this.

Ordered these by mistake, but thought I would give them a try. I HATE how bad the odor control is with these. I'm just standing next to the litter genie and I can already get a good whiff of what's in it. Immediately switching back to the regular bags.
