Developed especially for mature horses, this pellet feed is low in non-structural carbohydrates (NSC), and provides older horses with glucosamine, chondroitin and organic sulfur (MGM) for joint support, enhanced range of motion and respiratory health. NSC feed is especially beneficial for hyperactive horses or those with insulin resistance, laminitis, PPID, or tying-up issues. Designed to provide higher fat content, essential amino acids, omega fatty acids, along with digestible fiber to help keep him healthy as a horse.

Great Feed

I previously had my mare on the regular Kalm ‘n Ez but noticed her joints were alittle noisy so I switched her to this for some joint support. She has done amazingly well, joints seem happy, coat is shiny, good weight and her demeanor is calm even while working. She always looks forward to feed time and cleans her bucket after every meal.

Bought this for my newly adopted 11 year old Off the track thoroughbred. He raced until 2017 and I want to give him extra joint support. This product makes it so easy, the boarding facility gives him 2lbs every morning and I know he is getting the extra supplements he needs without buying and mixing everything separately. He loves this feed, it does not make him HOT. It came fresh and the next day after the order was placed. I love Chewy.com for all my pets needs.

This product solves so many issues at once--No inflammatory corn or molasses, Higher fiber and more Pre & Probiotics for Better Digestion, better ratio of Anti-Inflammatory Omegas (6/3), more Muscle-Building Amino Acids (don't expect a better topline with just exercise), and NO MINERAL OIL, which has No nutritional value. PLUS, for a few dollars more it includes the joint supplements Glucosamine & MSM, which saved me from a knee replacement. I initially decided to try this because my horse was having a problem that has become so common, the vets are calling it "fecal water syndrome." I was shocked to find the other food I was feeding contained mineral oil--a lubricant! Check your feed labels- This product solves so many issues at once--No inflammatory corn or molasses, Higher fiber and more Pre & Probiotics for Better Digestion, better ratio of Anti-Inflammatory Omegas (6/3), more Muscle-Building Amino Acids (don't expect a better topline with just exercise), and NO MINERAL OIL, which has No nutritional value. Tried another feed in an emergency

I have used Kalm n Eazy for 3 years and it has put the missing pounds on my TB. I had run out early and grabbed a bag of "senior" feed at the local store. Within a few days, my mare became "girthy" and had painful tummy issue. I jumped online to Chewy.com and upped my delivery date. Whew. I can't do without it. It is not available here in AZ so I have Chewy.com deliver straight to my gate.
