I have been using Tribute grain products since 2017 when a trainer I bought a horse from suggested the product. That was the start and I haven't stopped. I have used several different Tribute grain products that pertained to each of my horses.
I research so much horse food. This one stood out to me. So far, so good! My horse loves it and it seems to keep him at maintenance level. I like the idea of joint supplements as well.
My horse likes this feed. He had a previous stifle injury and the joint supplement that is included has seemed to help with stiffness associated with that.
Love that feed
Ran out of feed because chewy sent pig feed instead of horse feed
Feed seems ok. Really turned off by tributes constant price fluctuation. Most of their products have doubled in price. Unfortunately gong to have to switch.
My overweight paso has been on this a few months, she loves it. She is also looking better than ever! Her most recent farrier visit, farrier commented on how great she looked and first time she didn’t say she was fat and needed to lose weight. Tried some other high end ration balancer in past that were specifically for overweight smaller horses, this is the one that has worked! So happy I found this and so glad I can get it from Chewy!
Though it would be an easy switch to this from regular Kalm N Easy since it the same but with added joint supplement. NO! It smells different and my horse that is a pig and not picky at all won’t eat it!! I’m sure it would be fine otherwise, and tribute makes great feed, but with the cost of regular Kalm N Easy being astronomical right now (normally like $30 a bag, but last I checked it was $55 a bag!!) I got this instead, and it was a complete flop.
Horses love it. I think I'm feeding too much. I followed the directions on the back per horse (aprox) weight and we went through one 50 lb bag in one week! Need to re-order
This feed helps my horse keep his weight up and helps with his stumbling. while im out walking or riding him.
