I didn't realize when ordering this that the posts have steaks in the bottom, limiting it to use in a yard. That was the first bummer - second was that if any part of my dog (a 40 lb Aussie) touched this while she jumped through, the whole thing collapses and needs adjustment. It's not nearly as sturdy as it looked in the photos. This would be best for a small dog in an off-leash outdoor space.
I have a very high energy dog so I got this as an additional way for her to expend her energy. She absolutely loves it and it's always fun to train her to jump through!
I finally got around to opening this and am quite disappointed. The parts that make up the orange circle don't fit. After a lot of pushing and squishing, I was able to squeeze one end together, but I've been trying with no luck to fit the other end together. I'm usually pretty good at assembly. Bummer. I'll keep it and tape the pieces together to get it to work, but I can't recommend.
Upon receiving this product, we went out back, set it up and started to play! My 30lb Tibetan Terrier jumps through over and over. My 80lb Husky will walk through it for his favorite toy or treat! It works great for us.
This flimsy piece of plastic is not worth $25. I’m surprised Chewy sells it!
This is a really neat training ring. Comes in a nice carrying bag. Easy to assemble. My only issues are two things. 1) keep the training instructions because there are no assembly instructions included and you will need the assembled picture to look at. 2) THIS IS FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY. There are big spikes for planting the ends into the ground in two of the poles and cannot be removed. I wish I had know this before purchase. Oh well, will save for warmer weather next year!
I feel it was to small. I have a German Shepard & he jumped threw it but it ended up pulling orange ring down. Not for big dogs. Flimsy made.
Was making progress with the dog, but then it broke.
I bought this for about thirty five dollars from Chewy. It was super easy to assemble and get set up. It is a little chintzy but it’s fun for my kids to train our 65# Catahoula to jump through. Storage bag makes it nice to put away or take to the park.
This is satisfactory given the reasonable price. I have a small, 18lb, dog and this works well for her.
