Is the Cat Tree 46 inches high?

This cat tree is 46 Inches in height.

I’m a senior and need to slide this back and forth once a day maybe 4 feet between two places, will that be easy to do?

The cat tree weighs 26 pounds and has soft plush fabric edges underneath the base. Depending on your floor's surface, this should be able to slide with only a little resistance.

Can the 2nd platform (the 15x11 one) be turned sideways? Where I want to place it, it Would stick out too much the way it's shown.

We wouldn't recommend adjusting any cat tree parts in a different way than instructed. The tree was tested for durability the way the instructions read.

How thick is the bottom plate/shelf? (As in how long of a screw would I need to affix it to something more sturdy). Thx!

The base and the 3 platforms all measure approximately 0.78 inches thick.

Great cat tree! Needs some extra support

I think this is such a great size cat tree and my cat(s) loves it. The structure itself is sturdy and very easy to put together. All the poles are scratching posts,

I think this is such a great size cat tree and my cat(s) loves it. The structure itself is sturdy and very easy to put together. All the poles are scratching posts, and I like to sprinkle a little catnip on each shelf to my cat's delight. However! Just like many of the other reviews, it is not stable. A kitten might be able to jump and climb it without it wobbling, but once they reach about 5-6 months depending on their size it can be a little dangerous. I ended up adding weights (two 8lb and two 10lb), one on each corner of the base, and while it stills moves a little as my full size cat jumps and climbs and plays on it, it doesn't tip over. (I sometimes tip it over on purpose though, because it becomes a whole new toy when its on the floor lol). Eventually I might make a thicker, heavier base for it with some wood and screw it together, but for now it works. I would recommend it if you are willing to add some weights to the corner and you're cat doesn't mind a little swaying.

My cats know this is not safe to jump on.

The base needs to be larger. The tree is not stable. My cats are big. They will not touch it, and I do not blame them. I feel one good jump, and it would topple

I welcome suggestions on how to make this stable, as the height, color, and tiers are perfect. However, looks are not everything.

not happy

This was reasonably priced but Ive had nothing but issues since I got it. There must be something about the way it's designed because it's not sturdy. Every time

This was reasonably priced but Ive had nothing but issues since I got it. There must be something about the way it's designed because it's not sturdy. Every time my cats try jumping onto it, it wobbles and falls over. Tonight I had to actually tie it to a bed frame with shoe strings because no matter how I try to reposition the platforms, it still keeps falling over. I think it needs a bigger base to ensure it's stable.

Wobbly and unstable

Very wobbly small base, had to attach it to a larger base. The rug part is soft, though and it's tall enough. Would not recommend though cheap.

Tippy and wobbly

Titter is 11 lbs and not very agile. She’s an older gal who just needs a perch and a god scratching post. This looks great, assembled quickly and the scratching

Titter is 11 lbs and not very agile. She’s an older gal who just needs a perch and a god scratching post. This looks great, assembled quickly and the scratching posts are heavy duty. The first time Titter hopped on a platform the whole tree wobbled and she said no thanks! She tried scratching a few times but the tree moved with her claws. Total bust. Sheerness great about a return and suggested other products. Ultimately found a Frisco heavy duty tree that fit the bill.
