Dogs love the simple things. Nothing makes their day more than quality time together and a flavorful meal in the bowl—with some belly rubs added in for good measure. So when it comes to what we feed them, we keep it simple with recipes that have the nutrition they need, and nothing they don't.

Our recipes are made with ingredients sourced from trusted farms. And with all those wholesome ingredients also comes all the nutrition your dog needs to stay healthy.

You won't find any grains, wheat, corn or artificial colors or flavors in our kibble. That means plenty of goodness to go around come mealtime—and dogs that always come back for more.

Our dogs are part of the family. To get those tails wagging, we reward them with wholesome recipes that combine nutritious ingredients and flavors they love. And because simple things make dogs happy, we keep our approach to food and treats simple, too. Focus on taste and nutrition to keep bringing goodness to the bowl.

Picky Eater
By BenS on Feb 12, 2021
Our Pitbull would eat garbage if we let him. Our Boxer on the other hand is the pickiest eater I’ve ever met. She will cycle through dog food brands when she’s had one too many times and get bored of it. She will turn her nose up at most dog food brands, unless we add things to it like meat, eggs, peanut butter, fish oil, and even then once she’s had those too frequently she will protest. We tried waiting out her hunger strikes before and she’s won every time because three days without food is too much. This is literally the only good brand we’ve purchased where she doesn’t protest. We’ve been buying it for over year now and she loves it. We haven’t been able to buy a brand for more than two Our Pitbull would eat garbage if we let him. Good for Them!
By 2Mastiff on Feb 21, 2021
Switched from a leading brand as my girls picked at the food and left half of it all over the floor in their feeding area. Decided to try True Acres Grain Free Beef and Vegetable after much research and they gobble it up, YEAH! My picky eater has no problem finishing up hers and her sisters if she leaves any in her bowl. I don't know about anyone else but it works for my girls so I am HAPPY, HAPPY. Smooth bag hard for carrying and I have to transport 2 40# bags at a time.

true acre dog kibbles
By augie on Feb 14, 2021
i actually bought this for my outdoor raccoons because the ingredients seem a little better than the kit n kaboodle cat kibbles i was giving them (along with other food) and the kibbles are larger. the only thing i don't like is that it's "dusty", meaning that whatever the kibbles are coated in produce kibble dust which was also a problem with the kit n kaboodle.

Super Happy
By Merry on Jan 11, 2021
This was the best decision I have ever made for my 13 year old Australian Shepherd. In the last two months she has slimmed down nicely and is so much more perky and runs again. She had been eating Iams all her life and about 6 months ago she ballooned up. I slowly changed her food over to TrueAcre and she is a different dog. (You can't change a dog's food all at once or it will affect their digestive system). Thanks for the great quality product.

healthy & apparently very tasty!
By tatcat on Dec 27, 2020
Decided to take advantage of "Today's Deals" to try out this food. True Acre Foods, Grain-Free, Beef & Vegetables Recipe was definitely a good choice. My 3 dogs LOVED it as did 2 of my Mom's senior dogs, who I keep indoors over the winter months. Highly palatable, no digestion or skin allergy issues, pleased with order of & quality of ingredients and nutritional quality, so I will be purchasing again in the future. Will probably try their Chicken & Vegetables next. I have worked at vet clinics over 30 yrs and do NOT always feed grain-free to my dogs, so will probably try their Farmhouse Blends varieties as well.

Zack seemed to like it.
By Toy1 on Jan 30, 2021
I have been feeding Zack the Sam product for 2 years and he just did not care for it. I tried this true acre food and he seems to eat his entire dish in one sitting, time will tell if this goes the same way as the last one. So far so good.

Burger Chow
By Datka on Feb 2, 2021
So far, dogs are tolerating. The bag, however was so slippery and had no hand hold so I could drag only out of the box! So, , it’s in the living room till I can reduce the weight enough to move it!!!

good food for my Yorkie's
By Daina on Jan 28, 2021
Both my Yorkie's are happy when it is feeding time. They don't get tired of the same food everyday for the last year now. I use the dry food and add pedigree wet food as a topper.

Okay food but pup lost interest
By Emily on Nov 30, 2020
I have a doberman mix with food allergies to most fillers, soy, grains, and gluten. I switched from his old food to this one due to the larger size of the bag and a few dollars saved. He ate it well enough for the first couple months. No allergic reactions but he seemed to just loose interest in eating it. Not sure if they changed their recipe or if he just grew tired of it, but it didn't work out for my pup. Were back to the old brand and he loves it.
