Run, hike, or walk your BFF with a blissful mix of control AND freedom. The Tuff Mutt Hands Free Bungee Dog Leash attaches at your waist and expands from 48 inches to 60 inches so your dog can safely chase squirrels and sniff bushes without dragging you along when he hits the brakes and changes direction. The “bounce” in the bungee “springs” your dog back to you and the sliding metal clip lets your dog change direction without tripping you. Two control handles give you the option to bring your dog close in crowds. Best for medium and large dogs up to 100 pounds.
48 inch hands free bungee leash expands to 60 inches so your dog can safely explore.
Lightweight belt with leash clip is adjustable and comfortable to wear.
Moveable belt clip slides back and forth so your dog can change direction without tripping.
Two control handles let you pull your dog in close in crowds.
Reflective fabric on both the belt and length of the leash keeps you and your dog visible after dark.
I have a 110lb dog, the first time she pulled with this leash on, the leash clip on the harness nearly snapped fully open. Its now busted and I can’t take the leash off of her harness. I guess that’s serving its purpose? But its broken and I have to find a new leash to not risk my dog breaking free. The handles are really nice though! Would recommend for smaller dogs.
Very glad I purchased it

This works perfectly for us. The leash slides very easily around the waist belt. I have read that it’s important to swing your arms, equally, while walking. This set up allows that. I recommend it...the only hesitation I would have is if your dog could pull you off balance. My dog could, but doesn’t.
Best Leash Ever!

This leash is amazing! So nice to be hands free, I wish I had this years ago! It's so nice for any dog size, and if they pull, no problem! It's made me want to walk my dog more, and because of a few health issues I have, I can't hold things for long periods of time, so this makes feel a ton better and I want to walk my dog more!

Freedom! This is the best! I have extra hands to manage treat pouch when training or a crutch that I was using for awhile without freaking out my son that I was holding leash.training treats and crutch without getting tangled or falling. The two hand grip areas are great for more control. Pup doesn’t get tangled under her feet like with regular collar and regular leash due to bungee. I wish I’d gotten it sooner than at 6 months. Great to attach to me when in the house to keep her out of trouble and potty training while doing other tasks.
Great for an Overzealous pup

I love this leash. My shepherd gets a little overzealous on his walks and this leash allows him to stay under control without yanking me all over. It also allows me to drink my coffee on morning walks! That’s always a bonus
Best leash yet!

I bought this leash for my daughters dog since I watch him quite frequently. I just love it.

We needed a way to keep our new rescued Coonhound safe on walks in his new neighborhood and this works great! He's a big dog and could easily pull the leash out of our hands so having this around my waist helps us keep him safe.
Good, but breaks

I loved this leash for walking my high-energy dog, but have had two break in the same manner twice in a single calendar year.
Don’t buy this leash unless you want your clothes ruined
on Sep 6, 2021
Great idea, poor execution. The branding tags that have been sewn onto the interior and exterior of the leash are so sharp and rough that I have now had two articles of clothing ruined by wearing it. Spandex? It will pick. Knits? It will pick. Apparently, only crappy sweats survive and, let’s be honest, more often than not, I am throwing the leash on after a day of work, wearing normal clothes.
Great Hands free Leash

I used this with my ten lb dog and later with my 70lb good boy. The latter surprised me as to how well he walked on this. It was towards the end of a hike so he was tired but he did not pull at all. My dogs don't pull too much anyway and they have martingale collars which I like for the pressure feedback. Not sure how this would be if your dog is a strong puller. But if you want to be handsfree I really like this.
