It Technically works
First gripe it locks up with the smallest amount of dirt. This is for farm animals which are typically outside and not the cleanest. Especially my chickens who love
First gripe it locks up with the smallest amount of dirt. This is for farm animals which are typically outside and not the cleanest. Especially my chickens who love digging. Second gripe ultra smooth design that gives you zero grip. Which makes when it gets locked up by three grains of dirt in the wrong spot infuriating. This also encourages putting a high amount of pressure on the few points of traction it has. Like the handle and the tiny bits of plastic holding that on. I'm sure I will break it there very soon. This also is infuriating to move once full any distance. Carrying the entire thing upside down is how I typically carry these waterers but this one is so smooth it is sliding around in my grip. Or I hold it right side up and splash out all the water from my hose to my chicken coop. In short I didn't know you could mess up one of these waterers designs so badly.
Chicks do not like this waterer
The chucks always drink from other waterers and leave these (purchased 2) alone. They appear to be made from a different type if plastic, although I don't know that

Worst product on Chewy
I beg you, find another waterer. On day one the handle fell off. When attempting to attach the reservoir to the tray that holds the water, it doesn't catch or secure
I beg you, find another waterer. On day one the handle fell off. When attempting to attach the reservoir to the tray that holds the water, it doesn't catch or secure. When I've turned this waterer over, the water pours right out, and it empties all over me and my chickens. I have several other waterers and none are made so cheaply and so inefficient. I am beyond upset I wasted money on this, only to shower my chickens every time I refill this. Pick another, this one is not for you.

Better definition of product
The drinking area is very narrow for adult hens would work better for chicks and pullets my hens did not use it but if I get some more chicks the waterer will work

Don't fill these and expect to turn over and not lose half your water. The hole is so big the it just comes out everywhere and in the winter now that it's cold not

What happened to if it I ain't broke don't fix it. The old style was 150% better. So if your floor is a bit off or your ground isn't level no water for the birds.
