You should pay to have it printed directly on the plastic. The label was heavily coated in glue and was next to impossible to remove. It over time it would have worn off and with the chick attacking colors would have invited pecking. This was not something I wanted to feed to chicks. When soaked for 24 hours the paper came partially off, but left a residue behind. 48 hours of soaking, acetone fingernail polish, and a metal putty knife finally removed it. These are great feeders for chicks. It’s easy to see how much food is in them, not so much with a huge label in the way. I knocked off 1 star for the amount of cleaning required before the first use, and a second star since a chemical was needed to get all the glue off.

While the size is perfect for 6 pullets, you have to be careful with the base. But it fills easily and is the perfect height for the chicks. It would be better if it had the pull out feet like the larger version but it really is easy to use, a good price, and the chicks love it. Perfect feeder for a day.

Smaller feeder

Good feeder for chicks but cheaper in farm stores if you have one in area. Also wish the bottles were interchangeable with waterers. Do not seal well

Missing a part.

It is a 3 piece system, mine came without the bottom piece making it unusable. Therefore can not really rate the actual product.

OK for the price

Not the best quality, but OK for the price -- bottom keeps falling off despite being in "locked" position

Chickie Feeder

We ordered 9 chickies for the first time. We are beginners. 2 of these Pecking Order feeders were just right for no pecking.

Young chicks only

This makes a big mess because the 2 bottom pieces do not stay together, they fall apart and it tips over and food goes everywhere. Next time I’ll get the long tray

Standard.

I really don't understand why they have the bottom twist off the way it does. Into two pieces. Twice it came undone in all of the food just spilled on the floor

I really don't understand why they have the bottom twist off the way it does. Into two pieces. Twice it came undone in all of the food just spilled on the floor. And the bottom doesn't really lock in securely as it should. What happened to the old design where the entire feeder is two pieces instead of three?

Trash

This makes no sense. You fill it, screw it to the base and then it all falls out. There’s no way to top it off, so it’s just a waste of plastic.
