Base doesn’t fit well

The base doesn’t just screw onto the water container, it’s almost like it was cross threaded, making the container not sit straight. Plus the hole where the water

The base doesn’t just screw onto the water container, it’s almost like it was cross threaded, making the container not sit straight. Plus the hole where the water comes out is too big and let all the water come out at once. I added some tape to cover half of that hole to slow down the water flow, which helped. As far as the base, I just get it on as best I can.

perfect size for pullets

This was the perfect size for 2 days of water for my 6 pullets. I would have liked if it had the pull out legs so it could grow with them but it worked really well

Does not thread on straight

It does not thread onto the included plastic jar straight. I also tried it with a mason jar. Same problem. Ultimately I was still able to use it. But I would not

They tip easily

These are used for chicks in a brooder type setting. We use bedding like line shavings in there and these waterer stop easily leaking water out which the bedding

These are used for chicks in a brooder type setting. We use bedding like line shavings in there and these waterer stop easily leaking water out which the bedding soaks up. Making it necessary to clean out the brooder much more frequently. If they had a wide base under the water moat it would make them much more useful!! They are costing me a lot more in electrolytes and bedding.

It doesn’t seal well

I tighten were I think it should be and it leaks. The birds make a mess by themselves they don’t need help. I’m disappointed with this product.

not good

This is cheap and overpriced . couldn`t even screw the bottom back on, after I took it apart, and looking at it, it certainly a little warped and I had to play around

This is cheap and overpriced . couldn`t even screw the bottom back on, after I took it apart, and looking at it, it certainly a little warped and I had to play around just to get the thread to screw on evenly, and then it popped, and I thought it broke, but luckily it is still in one piece . Don`t buy , bad quality with a way too high price tag

Plastic smell.

The water picks up a kind of plastic smell. I have to change the water a couple times a day. Will be getting a different waterer for the chickens.

Good for very young chicks only

As soon as they are a few weeks, they’ll knock it over constantly. Bottom doesn’t screw on very well. I just ordered a different one.
