Description

Tuffy's Desert Phrog Dog Toy is ideal for interactive play with one or multiple dogs. It’s made with three layers of safe, non-toxic fibers: soft fleece, industrial grade luggage material, and plastic coating. All three are bonded and sewn together to make one ultra "tuff" layer, ensuring this toy is just as durable as it is fun. The Desert Phrog Dog Toy also has a protective pouch around its squeaker as an added safety measure in the unlikely event your dog gets to the core. This toy is great for indoor use because of its soft exterior, perfect for outdoor use because it floats in water, and easy to clean because it’s machine washable.

Key Benefits
  • Assembled with multiple seams and webbing to make each toy tuff
  • Made with three bonded layers for durability
  • Squeaker is sewn into a pouch as an added layer of safety.
  • Floats in water and is machine washable
  • \#8 on the Tuff Scale

Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

    Not tough, waste of money

By Billy on Jan 9, 2021

Got this for my puppy and he loved it, but destroyed it in a matter of minutes. We’ve had toughy toys in the past and they have always lasted. Really disappointed, given I paid nearly $20 for it.

    What Frog?

By JimC on Dec 11, 2020

This thing was supposed to be tough. It lasted 5 minutes with a six month old Yellow Lab.

    Frog was a hit

By Jody on Oct 23, 2020

Oscar loves Frog. Its about half his size, but he hauls it around no problem. Its durable and I think will take longer than a month to destroy.

    Good Quality

By Kenn on Sep 19, 2020

Love Tuffy products. This toy is a little smaller than I had hoped. Not sure if size was posted and missed it, but my 68lb lab mix loves it.

    Tuffy's is the best

By Abby on May 19, 2020

Tuffy's are the only plush-like toys that work for my cattle dog mix. She absolutely destroys anything else. They were originally recommended by my local pet store owner who actually said the local zoo will come by and buy big tuffy's toys for the gorillas to play with :') because they are so durable! Ive had a great experience. This frog in particular is great, its a little small so be careful with a larger pet. Overall, such great quality i highly recommend for any dog that is a destructive chewer but is eager to have a soft toy instead of hard bones

    Tough, but not tough enough

By TrickyTuna on May 1, 2020

My dog Ty absolutely loves plush toys, but sadly he tears them up in seconds. I love the Tuffy brand toys, but this one just didn't last. Ty got three days of enjoyment out of his little frog before the side seems ripped. He didn't even have a chance to try ripping into before it tore. I think this one ripped just from the pressure of his jaws squeaking it and squeezing it as he carried it around. Ty is a rottie/lab mix so he is pretty rough on toys, but other ones I have bought from this brand have lasted a lot longer.

    Not up to standards

By Photogal on May 16, 2020

My 4th Tuffy toy for my power chewer— all the others have held up remarkably well and he still has them. The frog lasted 15 minutes and stuffing was all over the floor— he went for the mouth, which wasn’t as sturdy as the rest. A lot of money.... wasted.

    Pretty tough, but....

By Raisins on Apr 13, 2020

Tuffy is absolutely my favorite brand of tough plushies. I recognize that my girl is a deviant when it comes to tearing apart plush toys and Tuffy toys typically last between 2-6 weeks in our home. This guy, however, only made it about two days. Perhaps it was his tiny arms, ripe for the tearing. Maybe it was that Raven loved him too much right away. Whatever the reason, tough frog did not train enough for this tumble.

It'll last forever if your dog isn't interested

    By ok1204 on May 19, 2020

Just a hard little cloth covered thing from a dog's perspective. Expensive and doesn't even have a squeaker. He'd have had more fun if I'd just given him the cash to chew on.

    Tuff stuff!

By Lola on Jun 11, 2020

Well made toy that took my little (but aggressive) pup a very long time to destroy! Very happy with the quality!
