Got this just for fun because it completes the set we have with a lobster and a shark. Certainly stands up to the abuse of three large dogs too.
Bought last month for my bulldog and it’s still intact!
Lasted less than 30 minutes after giving to my chocolate lab
Perhaps the one I ordered was defective, but my 8mo mini Bernedoodle chewed clean threw this thing’s tail in 10 minutes. If your dog is a strong/aggressive chewer, maybe try something else.
Such a cute design and a toy that lasts! My shepherds have gone after it and used it as a tug toy and it still held up. Curious to try out other designs by this brand to see if they all last too!
I bought this for my 8 month old puppy and she loves it. Let me tell you she is a HUGE chewer. Toys don't last but an hour at best with her. She chewed the tip of the tail off but that was it. She like to throw it up in the air and shake it.
I ordered this toy for my 6-month old Golden Retriever puppy. She destroyed it within 2 days. It is a very nice toy, but not suitable for heavy chewers.
Tuffy has been a great plush toy brand for our 7 month old puppy! He's a decently heavy chewer, and these have held up great. We loved that this toy is squeaky (in both fins), and it seems really securely sewed in there.
We have a young, 65 lb., golden retriever that still loves to chew on things, even after teething is long over. This toy has held up. She doesn't chew on it as much as softer, squishy toys, and it doesn't have those little "bits" like ears, tails, hands, etc., that just scream to be chewed off, thus starting the destruction of the toy. She plays tug with her 20 lb. mini-goldendoodle housemate using this toy. and it seems to work really well for them. No rips or loose ends as yet, so I will be getting another one when this one finally bites the dust.
Unfortunately this toy literally didn't make it 15 minutes with my 10 mo old Golden Retriever. He had 3 holes from the seams in all the way into the stuffing. I had high hopes for 7 layers of stitching. I have had other toys make it over an hour.
