Details

  • Made with three layers that are bonded and sewn together to make one "Tuff" Layer. Most toys have just one seam to hold the toy together, Tuffy's has 7. Webbing is sewn around the edges of the toy and then the edges are sewn together to make each toy extra Tuff.
  • Stuffed with safe, non-toxic fiber and has soft edges that are safe on gums
  • Contains three squeakers sewn into squeaker safety pockets for an added layer of security
  • Floats in water and is machine washable (air dry)
  • Tuff scale: 8 out of 10, ideal for medium to large dogs

Holds up to tough chewers

My Dobermans play with this but prefer other toys to the peacock. They have chewed off the comb but the peacock is otherwise in good shape. There are only 2 squeakers

My Dobermans play with this but prefer other toys to the peacock. They have chewed off the comb but the peacock is otherwise in good shape. There are only 2 squeakers. The toy is a hard ‘soft’ toy, stuffed with little give. The seams are protected.

To big and heavy

Did not realize this was going to be so big and heavy. None of my dogs will play with it not even the 80# that loves chewing up all the toys.

The company listed this toy as a level 8 out of 10 for durability. The legs were off within five minutes and my dog is not an aggressive chewer. He has toys he's had for over a year that have held up better than this. It cost quite a bit ($30) for a stuffed toy, and although it is really cute, I am really disappointed in the quality and durability.

Peacock new favorite toy!

Big Bird!

This peacock is heavy and solid. Our 21 pound doodle does ok with it. Loves to chew and run after it when thrown but I always hope it doesn’t land on her.
