We were excited because we haven’t found a toy our GSD can’t destroy. She loves it, even sleeps with it. That being said it only lasted 2 weeks and now there is stuffing everywhere
We have other tough toys including rhe alligator and the T-Rex. The bull was very disappointing:( only a few days in and it is unusable due to stuffing being easily discovered. The throat and the underbelly had no more than 1-2 layers. Seems like a common issue with this particular model. Too expensive to last this short of a time.
My dog plays w it everyday and it’s made so heavy duty he hasn’t destroyed it. Will order more Tuffy toys for sure
We are very disappointed in this toy our dog has had it for 3 days and it's ripped. Won't be long before it's garbage.
I had a big "Johnson-Type" American Bulldog for about 8-9 years. In his lifetime, he went through quite a few of the largest sized Tuffy's Plush Dog Toys. He was a big boy at around 125 lbs, pretty much solid muscle, and he could tear to shreds even the toughest toy in mere minutes, but I persisted, and kept replacing the Tuffy's Bevo Bull every time he destroyed one. And each time, the next one would last a little longer until eventually he stopped destroying them. He still played rough with them, and they continued to be his favorite toys, but the last one actually survived for years. He's gone now- he lived a good life, but the last Tuffy's Bevo Bull is still here. Maybe it just reminds me of my old buddy, but I have left that one toy sitting on an unused chair in my living room. Now here's an interesting recent development- this last summer I rescued a couple of abandoned feral kittens, and I'm house-training them now. I've supplied the kittens with plenty of the usual little cat toys, and they play with them constantly, but for some weird reason, the kittens have singled out this huge Bevo Bull out as their favorite toy. It's at least two or three times the size of the kittens, but they are really attached to this thing- they wrestle with it, they try to drag it around, they push it off the chair and roll around with it- they spend hours battling with this huge dog toy- they can't hurt it no matter what they do, and they absolutely love it!
My Rottweiler tore through this within 2 minutes! It says in the description it's ranked an 8 on the tuffy scale but when it arrived the tag says a 7!!
Our dog loved this toy because it was heavy but the neck was easily ripped open. His cheaper toys have lasted much longer. not worth the price we paid, for sure. I gave it 3 stars because our dog really enjoyed playing with this
It was a gift for my dear friends Great Dane! It was plenty tough and a big, sturdy toy!!! She loved it!!!
This baby was awesome. I bought it for a friend to rescued a female black lab. The lab can destroy most babies in mere minutes. This one lasted 4-5 days. Bahahaha! It was worth the $35 or $37. Everyone liked it, especially my friend's parents who are UT alumi. I would buy it again but not every month. Perhaps 3 or 4 times a year.
3 hours in, bulls down. Tuffy level 8 apparently not enough for 8 month old lab. Chewed open leg and ear. Stuffing all over now
