Are these treats good if your pet is on a diet?

Do these have salt or sodium in them?

Answer by ChewyOct 22, 2022
These treats do not include salt or sodium.

are they easy to break into small pieces? my furbaby has bad teeth and can't have anything too chewy.

Answer by ChewyApr 18, 2022
Treats can be fed as is, cut up into bite size pieces or rehydrated by soaking in warm water.

Do these terms to be more chewy or crunchy? I've bought other brands before and they're not consistent (when hard they can almost hurt my pups mouth)

Answer by ChewyMar 16, 2022
These treats tend to be more of a chewy texture.

My Dog is not Interested

Great quality, but my picky eater wanted none of it... hard to sell low calorie treats when yiur dog is use to beef. I will keep searching.

Dog-approved

We can no longer do rawhides with our dog, as they're a choking hazard for her. These serve as both a good chewing opportunity and a treat she loves.

Good idea but

Some dogs probably live the stuff and Beau did too but after eating only two pieces over two days, he was constipated for three days. Needless to say, he hasn’t

Little tough

These sweet potato’s are very hard and not very flexible. We like to use them to stuff into bones and Kong toys but these are a bit hard to do that with.

Great treat

My dog loves these treats and I love that they are a healthy option for him. They also seem to last longer than a normal treat for him to get through each piece

Ugh! Not My Dogs' Idea of Tasty

My dogs are HUGE fans of Tylee's pork jerky...which, sadly, is no longer available. We tried these instead (one of my pups is allergic to poultry, so chicken jerky is out). These are Hard and Chewy and evidently not so tasty. Our collie tolerated one, but our Havanese was offended we gave it to her. Maybe they'd be good for a heavy chewer who eats anything.

If your dog is a meat eater I wouldn't recommend

They looked great to me, but my dog is a real meat eater, he wouldn't touch these.

It was Tyler’s.

She loved the Tyler’s jerky. This was very hard, hard to chew and she hated it.

Not a good choice.

I'm not sure why, but Molly vomited it back up after eating one.
