She likes it!
My slightly picky mare ate this right out of my hand, which surprised me. She did not like VB or CT (competitors) which smell similar to me, but these pellets met with approval. Good general balancer for PPID / EMS horse! Chewy’s price was also great.
Great Forage Balancer
I feed a forage based diet to 7 horses. This is a great mineral balancer with the appropriate amounts needed for good hooves. It also has the Tri Aminos, biotin, added vitamins, magnesium, silica for tendons/ligaments. No added junk with Uckele and many of the supplements are crafted by Dr Kellon. If you're not familiar with her work she's one of the leading vets who specialize in nutrition in the US. My horses have thrived and come back from nutritional issues based on her work. She also is considered an expert with laminitis and metabolic horses.
Best Supplement EVER for Horses
This supplement is the absolute best especially if you have horses with HOOF problems! I bought an OTTB with absolutely horrible, neglected feet and abcesses in all 4. I tried other supplements but, after a lot of research, I stumbled across Dr. Kellon's work. I started comparing the levels of Cu, Zn, Mn to other popular hoof supplements and there was no comparison! My horse has gained weight on this (which is almost an impossible task with an OTTB) and his hooves are beautiful, barefoot with zero abcesses in over a year now! He absolutely GLEAMS with health in the sun! This product is a lifesaver!
