Transition Instructions

If your dog is new to a freeze-dried raw diet, their body may need a little time to adjust to the dense nutritional content of Nutra Complete (especially if your dog is small). We recommend starting slow to avoid overwhelming your dog with too many new nutrients at once. Begin by replacing just 25% of your dog’s food with Nutra Complete for the first meal. Gradually increase the amount of Nutra Complete in each meal for about 10 days, until you’ve reached 100% Nutra Complete.

Once the food is hydrated how long is it fresh for?

We recommend feeding Ultimate Pet Nutrition's Nutra Complete food to your pet within a few minutes of hydrating the food. However, once water is added to Nutra Complete, the hydrated food should keep for 2-3 days refrigerated.

Scoop the desired amount of Nutra Complete into a non-toxic dish. Use the chart to determine the correct amount of food for your dog per feeding. Add warm water. The ideal food-to-water ratio is 2 to 1. Let Nutra Complete soak for 3 mins to boost the flavor and texture. Then gently mix with a spoon. You can also serve this food completely dry! Nutra Complete can be served at any consistency your dog prefers. Feel free to modify the amount of water as needed, or serve it as-is.
