Description

Get the most out of your cat litter with Ultra Pearls Crystal Cat Litter. Made with silica gel pearls, which are a naturally occurring mineral made of water, sand, and oxygen, it offers superior moisture and odor-trapping qualities. In fact, it absorbs urine instantly and leaves litter dry to the touch—which in turn provides maximum odor control. And since the moisture then evaporates, the pearls can be raked and used over and over again for up to a month, making this an earth-friendly options as well. Totally non-toxic and safe for cats, it’s soft on the paws and cuts down on tracking.

Key Benefits
  • Silica gel cat litter offers maximum odor control and leaves litter dry to the touch.
  • Absorptive surface with thousands of mini-channels provide superior liquid absorption.
  • Dries solid waste and absorbs urine instantly for maximum odor control.
  • Water evaporates so pearls can be reused up to a month, offering 70% less landfill waste than clay.
  • One bag is enough for one cat for one month.
Precautions

Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.

Transition Instructions

As with any new cat litter it is very important to introduce it gradually. Cats are not excited about litter changes so whenever introducing any new cat litter it is recommended that you incorporate some portion of the old litter to encourage cat’s trial. It may even be best to incorporate some clumps of waste or used litter from the currently used box during the first couple days. A 50% new on bottom / 50% old on top mix best for the first month gradually stirring the litters to mix and let the cat get used to the texture and sounds of the new litter. By the time you get to the start of month 2 the silica gel litter should be the only litter in the box with complete cat acceptance. You may also find it helpful to place the cat in the box after changing to pearls and comfort them into trying the texture and sound. Pearls may have more sound as they shift as the cat walks.

    Not recommended...

By Maggi on Jun 30, 2021

Horrible...little stones/pebbles that don’t sift through scooper, roll all over the floor, are a potential fall hazard causing slipping if one or more pebbles sticks to bottom of shoe, like little tiny marbles; and, overall, they hurt when stepped on, so can’t imagine these “pearls” are too comfortable for cat paws. I am finding them all over my home as they must be getting stuck in paws and then eventually dislodged throughout house. Enough said.

    Almost perfect. Almost

By Adehart on May 19, 2021

If you have cats you've experimented with every type of litter. I've been favoring the pine litter for a few years now. It's been good, but you're always looking for better odor control etc. These pearls WORK on odor, so long as you keep after the solids daily! But scooping the solids is super easy, then you stir the crystals and your home is blissfully odor free. BUT! Your home will then be littered with the crystals from here til Sunday. They get everywhere, just like the clay litter and beach sand or Christmas tree pine needles. You vacuum and sweep and sweep and vacuum and I have the track-reducing mats down, and still. Ugh But I'd rather have a little mess than to smell cat turds while If you have cats you've experimented with every type of litter. I've been favoring the pine litter for a few years now. Decent litter

By Carolyn on Mar 3, 2021

Have 3 cats and with one other litter box, and have gone two weeks with half a bag (and boyfriend's two cats come for the weekend). Was concerned after reading about too large chunks, but although sometimes hard to get excess litter through scoop holes, at least it didn't fly out of litterbox like the finer crystals in other brands. Tracking minimal.

    So far so good!

By KellyGB on Feb 9, 2021

The litter I’ve used for over a year wasn’t cutting it, and I couldn’t wait for my monthly shipment any longer this month it was so bad, my cats were going outside the box and elsewhere so I was forced to by this at Publix as a last minute “help me!”. It seemed like a good option. Pretty Litter, which is the brand I was having delivered says it lasts a month, but it doesn’t, and it gets EVERYWHERE. I was tired of crunching under my slippers and the cats jumping up on the couch with litter paws, spreading remnants everywhere, yuck! Then I happened upon this litter by chance, thank all that is holy! The kitties and I love it. No odor, no dust, my cats are in and out. I’m so happy to be rid of the tiny granules all over my house, kitchen counters and me included. This litter is larger in granule size and is super absorbent. Scoop the poop and stir the litter and walk away. Best litter I’ve ever tried. It’s $9.99 at my Publix for a 5 lb bag and 2 bags for 2 large cats lasts 3 weeks. … more

    non-clumping vs clumping litter

By khaz on Mar 3, 2021

I have found that I prefer the non-clumping pearls a high standard priority over the clumping litter. All I've got to do is take out the dehydrated excrement and flush. Then swirl the remainder pearls that have been urinated on and call it a day. I am so pleased that I took the time to try something different!

Doesn't get stuck in my fur!

By Purrstachio on Mar 31, 2021

My sister and I really like this litter. We have long, luxurious fur so it doesn't get stuck like the clay litters. Also provides odor control better than others mom has brought home.

    WayTooRocky

By Sooze on Mar 10, 2021

The litter is way too rocky for my cat. When I step on it and it hurts, my cat steps in it and meows then the chunks are too big. No smell though which is great.

    Painful to walk on

    By MookieRedCollars2 on Feb 2, 2021

As the human, walking on these crystals can be painful, especially when your cat is tossing them out of the litter box. Wear shoes when sweeping up, stepping on these is unforgettable.
