I have a very high energy young GSP that doesn’t keep weight on. Yes, vet has ruled out medical issues. He’s a picky eater, growing, and constantly on the move. I ordered this for him in hopes in would encourage him to eat his kibble if I put it on top. It’s condensed, high calorie so exactly what I need for my boy, Otto. He did enjoy licking the powder on top of his kibble but didn’t encourage him to completely finish his food. I do see a difference in his weight though so it must be helping!

My picky eating dog absolutely loves this stuff. She even tries to steal mouthfuls from the container. Great high calorie topper for picky dogs who don’t like to eat their kibble. Make sure you only feed your dog an appropriate amount in relation to their size/weight though, as this is a high cal / high fat supplement and can cause stomach upset.

I gave it four stars, because at this point we haven't had it long enough to see if it helps my picky eater gain weight. She does eat it well even though it's a powder I can put it on top of her kibble and she'll lick up all the powder first if I mix it in she tries to lick the powder off of each piece of kibble. So it's very palatable -even with a picky eater. I wasn't sure about the powder, but she doesn't seem to mind it. Typically if she gets licking the powder off, she will actually eat all of her meal right away instead of picking at it throughout the day/night.

The stray needed the high calorie, the vitamins & minerals , the energy booster, all in a savory chicken powder. It’s a very fine powder and easily mixes with kibble. We recently had our young Whippet, Kishka in for spay surgery. Since it was several days before she really wanted to eat, I added a scoop of this product to her raw meat meal. She was indeed Under the Weather, so this was appropriate. I think the ingredients, while adding flavor enhancing, also helped with getting her to recover a bit faster. I do think this product might be useful for any dog recovering from surgery or just an off day.

My dog had no issue eating this in meals. I tried it a few times no issues . I also let my neighbor try it on her 2 dogs and they ate as well in their meals. I feel all the dogs were a bit spunkier. Plus we tried at different times so we could observe better. I would recommend this product! Thank you Chewy for this chance to try new products.

Ok right away i noticed no safety seal on the inside of lid or outside so be careful opening this up 😅. I just recieved it and am going to use this on my senior dog who could use some extra calories in this cold weather! Right away opening the tub the powder is fine, doesnt smell bad, and I'm sure my dog will eat this right up (hopefully) i have high hopes so far! The ingredients look good, hopefully i can update on this after a while how he does on this!

Shockingly cold weather had the farm dogs feeling a little down, added this with morning feed and they perked up! Instantly they were enticed to eat the food they were leaving behind. They seemed to be more satisfied throughout the day rather than attempting their usual shenanigans and stealing the cats food. We will keep trying through the cold snap.
