How often should the airstones be replaced?

There is no time frame for the replacement of the air stones. If you do notice that the airstone is not operating correctly, first check to be sure there are no blockages in the attached tubing. If issues still persist, you can rinse off the stone itself under clean water with a gentle sponge to remove any gunk or deposits. Be sure to never use soap, as it is very harmful to aquarium inhabitant

Well, it would have helped if I had known that I needed a bubbler device for these; I thought I could just put them in the tank gravel. Can U tell I knew at this fish business? My betta only has a 1.5 gallon tank. I guess I need at least a 5 gallon for a device. I gave it 5 stars because it’s my mistake, not the bubblers fault.
