What does “non UL” mean?
Answer by ChewyJun 03, 2018
This product is Non UL, meaning it is not Underwriters Laboratories approved, which are standards for cable and wiring. Low voltage items do not require UL inspection.

How am I able to hook up three airlines to this product?
Answer by ChewyJun 06, 2019
The size 060 and Size 100 have 2 air ports while the other sizes have only one. There is no way to hook up three lines to these pumps.

does it come with tubing?
Answer by ChewyNov 29, 2018
This pump does not include tubing. You will need air line tubing, a check valve, and an air stone, bubble wand or ornament. Air pumps don't come with these items because there are so many variations and ways of providing air to the tank or installing an accent.

I have the one for the 100 gallon. Wondering if I can only connect one airline or both have to be connected. I feel like if I connect only one the other side still blows air, or is there anyway to shut/close the other airline?
Answer by ChewyApr 13, 2018
While this Pump has 2 air ports, it is possible to just use 1. Simply place the tubing on the port you'd like and the other air port will not be active.

Loud and Vibrates

I thought from all the other reviews that this would be quieter or at least on the quiet side of pumps. This pump if the tubing isn’t exactly where it likes is so so loud and it vibrates so hard it shakes the whole cabinet I have the tank on and moves around. I had to put something under it to stop it from moving and dampen the vibrating sound.

Works fine with bubble wall I bought at same time

Some found the pump to be noisy which was a concern but presently surprised it is very quiet. Just a light hum. The output for the bubble wall was a lot more than I expected also. Was for me a great buy.

Always Great!

We have one of these for every tank and they all work great, and quietly!

Go-to pump

I am an aquarium hobbiest with multiple (7? 8? 10?) tanks. Every tank runs a sponge filter, and only 2 are close enough to share the same pump. So I’ve purchased many air pumps. This is the air pump I use exclusively now. It’s inexpensive, effective, and runs quietly. Pretty much all you need in an air pump!
