The large size is perfect to use as a litter robot liner. Way more affordable than the litter robot brand liners and it’s the perfect size. I love that they are shaped to fit into a litter box so you don’t feel like you’re wasting a huge bag. That’s how I feel when I use the litter robot brand liners or even a kitchen trash bag. They fit into all the crevices so your bin can fill up more than it can with other liners before you have to clean it out. I feel like before I had to empty the bin literally every day (I have 2 cats). Now I only have to once or twice a week. They feel very high quality and thick. Exactly what I was looking for!
Not necessarily Chewy's fault. Way too small. I have several size liter boxes. This wouldn't fit smallest. I can't use. Will try largest. It sounded like an idea I wanted to try.
I compared the Fresh Step and Van Ness bags, and I prefer the Van Ness. (I have the Frisco Extra Large Deep boxes.) Every time I put on the Fresh Step bags, they tore at the seems. The Van Ness have more stretch and never tore. Otherwise both brands seemed pretty durable and neither tore at all. I always double-bagged just in case. If the Van Ness didn't exist, I would be content with the Fresh Step. Thankfully they do so I'll stick with them.
These are literally just garbage bags that you put in on your box. The second your cats scratch around to bury anything they snag and rip. And they don't fit right in your boxes to the shape. Don't recommend them. Just get a good non-stick litter.
These liter box liners are great for quick clean up and changing, I had to make one little hack to keep kitty claws from shredding the bag, I put the small flats from the case of cat food on top it fit perfectly add litter on top and no more shredding. I've also used plastic disposable lids come with aluminum pan they work well to.
i bought the largest pack of these under the assumption that they would both fit my cats large litter box and wouldnt rip easily. they just barely fit my cats litter box, and they were torn to shreds within two weeks. not only do they rip open and spill litter and urine all over the inside of the litter box, but i was shocked to find out every single review i read neglected to mention that scooping clumping cat litter out of these bags is IMPOSSIBLE. you WILL rip the bag just trying to scoop litter, especially if your cat is like mine and exclusively likes peeing by the walls of the litter box. the litter sticks to the bags even worse than just the plain smooth walls of the box, most likely because of the way they bunch up. this isnt a worthwhile product at all. i now have to spend another entire day deep cleaning my cat’s litter box and buy another box of litter all because these bags couldnt hold themselves together. don’t bother purchasing these!
I use these all the time easy clean up I use disposable litter pans so jus pick up with plastic liner.
I was questing all year for a replacement for Cat's Pride liners, which I think may have been discontinued. They were strong and with a good drawstring, excellent price... I miss them. I hopped from a couple different brands before settling on these. This is the best I can find so far. These are comparable in toughness, but not invincible. The bag is strong enough not to rip apart when it comes time to tie up the liner and throw the litter out - a legitimate problem I had with some other brands. But this liner can be scratched open by claws, if they go at it enough. The drawstring was a big deal for me. For those complaining that the drawstring is not strong enough - I really dont recommend picking up a liner full of cat litter by the drawstring. I never did this with Cats Pride either. Cat litter is heavy, it's a bit unrealistic to carry it by a thin plastic drawstring and it hurts your hands! Use it to pull the bag shut only. Find another way to grab the bag when it's time to toss. I like to hold it by the bunched up drawstring/liner where I tie it shut. I can get a good grip there and it holds strong. The giant size liners are a bit big for my purposes. Will move down to the next size. I hope these stay in stock! It's a huge relief to get liners that have all the same features I was used to. I'll be sticking with Van Ness.
I've only used them once. My cats haven't ripped them and they fit my litter boxes.
I am very satisfied with this product. It makes cleaning the liter box easy.
