My two guinea pigs were adopted in July and they are very picky eaters when it comes to hay and dry food. They pick through the mix but don’t eat much of it. I just ordered new hay and pellets and fingers crossed they will love it. I read the reviews and they were great except I have the 2 pets that don’t like it.

They Love It!

I first bought this product when it was on special, and I'm so glad I gave it a try! All four of my guinea pigs will come running and squeaking when they hear the bag rattle (woe is me if it gets bumped by accident and they hear the crinkle--I have to give them a taste to avoid a riot). Once a day I put a handful in their hay box for foraging, but I also add a bit in the two pellet dishes so everypig can have a chance to get the tastiest pieces without a scuffle. The "pellets" look a bit like odd-shaped droppings, as others have mentioned, and these are the last things to be eaten. The peas and soybeans go first, and the bits of hay and little nibblets of what may be beets are next. The rose hips are hit and miss; sometimes they disappear, sometimes they hang around for a couple of days. I have since purchased this product two more times for my ladies, so that should tell you how much they enjoy this nutritious treat.
