My eight week old kitten has ringworm in few spots. Vet told me to order to use by applying w/sponge. It won’t take very much. If I mix 4oz w/gallon of water how long can I use the gallon?

1gal= 128oz, so the 16 oz bottle if done at 4oz dilution equates to 4 baths in a week, so if we divide 128/4oz we get 32 baths total or 16weeks of bathing, so it’s a lot cheaper with the gallon

Can this be used on goats.. I need a medicated goat shampoo

We put it into a new garden sprayer and use it on our goats. It is not a shampoo. Wash the goat with something, spray the lime Sulphur dip and let them air dry. Do not rinse it off.

How long does it take to see a change in skin conditions like mange?

This depends on the severity of the condition. This product is meant to deal with affected areas for 5-7 days at a time before needing reapplication.

Can I fill the bathtub with the proper dilution and put my whole dog in it? Or do I need to rub it on her like a shampoo?

It is recommended to pour the dip solution (dilute 4 oounces of Lime Sulfur Dip in one gallon of water) over animal making sure it gets all the affected areas. Use a sponge on the animal's face to keep it out of their eyes, nose and mouth. Do not rinse or towel dry; let the animal air dry.

My vet recommended dipping my cat 2 times a week to prevent and treat ringworm on my cat. We had 7 pets that we dipped 2x a week for 6 weeks. It was a long journey

My vet recommended dipping my cat 2 times a week to prevent and treat ringworm on my cat. We had 7 pets that we dipped 2x a week for 6 weeks. It was a long journey. I recommend getting large plastic totes to do the dipping. Vet recommended washing pet with sensitive soap, followed by the dip. Air dry.

I don’t know what they had but this seems to be the only thing that’s working. I’ve tried every single thing under the sun trying to figure this out. Vets, meds, ripped carpet up, bought dehumidifier, bought a rainbow purifier/vacuum and tons of process of elimination. Changed foods etc etc Can’t wait until this entire process is over and after 6 months we can all live in peace and no constant worrying.

One of my dog had a severe dermatitis condition and I had tried so many solutions that had worked during past summers. It kept getting worse until Chewy's delivered Vet Basics Lime Sulfur Dip. I saw improvement after 2 days. She could sleep comfortable and the red irritation decreased. We found the easiest application was with a 1 gallon garden sprayer. I am so grateful that my dog is returning to normal and is happy and comfortable.

Caused a skin reaction

Caused a reaction when I tested it on dog. Red bumps broke out within an hour and intense itching. Informed vet told me to send back.

This stuff is MAGIC just like the other reviews say! I’ve only used it once for my cat’s skin yeast infection and I can already see a HUGE difference in him. He’s not itching like crazy anymore! I’m so happy to see him improving! :) It’s a little stinky but I personally don’t think it’s that bad. I do recommend dedicating one towel and outfit for applying this because it will make the towel & your clothes stinky. It didn’t stain my white tub at all. Highly recommend!
